On 1/31/24 I went into the *** store to drop off two Amazon returns. One of my returns required a printed return label. Anytime Ive done this in the past, the store has always printed the label for me for free if I emailed it to them. The store was especially busy this day so the employee recommended the self service machines, which was fine with me. There was no sign indicating there would be a charge for the use of the computer and the store employee never indicated there would be a charge for its use. I agreed to $.60 for 4 pages of black and white return labels. When I went to complete my session, the computer displayed charge information of almost $6 just to use the computer. This is unreasonable and should be clearly stated before I enter my card that I am going to be paying over $1 a minute to use a computer and not just for the printed pages.Business response

Amazon returns are processed in many different ways depending on how Amazon want's us to handle the customers return. When a label needs to be printed. It is a service we provide. The customer is required to pay the ********************** for these services depending on if the customer uses the self service computer or if an associate prints it out for the customer. The self service machine has a terms and conditions for the customer to accept. I have attached the charge page before the customer swipes the credit card to use the machine.
