We hired a photographer from Magnolia Studios formerly known as Beautifully Lit Photography and were married on October 17, 2020. On August 22, 2021 we finally received our pictures after many months of requesting them and receiving excuses as to why she was not able to follow through with her end of the contract. I believe the owner should be investigated.

This customer received all images except one gallery less than a month after his wedding. The missing gallery was delivered, but never downloaded. He requested a refund and had friends threaten and harass me on social media platforms. I am assuming this review is because my lawyer served him with a cease and desist letter. I do have confirmation their images were downloaded once I sent them via two other platforms, and screenshotted those download confirmations. He is simply angry because I will not refund him. I delivered everything in my contract. In fact, their images were delivered early. I did not charge for the extra photographer or extra time stayed because they ran late.

I would also add that the complaintant's husband, shortly after their wedding and after viewing the images they received from our office, left a very positive review on a professional publication's website: The Knot. This seems to contradict the assertion that they did not receive any images until August 22, 2021. I would also point out that the primary "excuse" for not getting the images to them when they wanted, although they were delivered well within the contract period, was that I had major surgery and was in and out of the hospital from September to December of 2020.

Hello, Let my start by saying that all of the comment left by the photographer is all false. The second shooter was in the package I purchased and for 5 hours of service. Our wedding was from 6 PM to 11 PM, 5 hours. The missing gallery was over 400 photos that she would not send. I posted a review from my ********* after 11 months of requesting the photos and after she blocked my husband, my married family and. I did not have my friends harass her, I posted a review and they took it upon themselves to reach out without my consent or knowledge, I did not promote that. I also posted an update when she did finally send the gallery. She also could not provide proof of her past attempts to send the gallery. I was never served with a cease and desist order because there is no case for one. My review was simple facts - there were no slanderous words, I did not threaten her. I was also not upset about not receiving a refund. My comment to her was, if I do not receive the photos by a certain day (20 days away from my 1 year anniversary) I will be requesting a refund for the work not delivered. That was the only mention of a refund. The images were not delivered early as stated as in her comment, I received a few galleries well over 3 weeks after my wedding. This business and photographer should be investigated for false accusations and should not be promoted by the BBB. I have all the proof of everything mentioned in this email. As far as the second comment left by the photographer this again is false as well. She spammed my husband for three days requesting that he leave a good review on the knot. This review was left a few weeks after our wedding after we received some of our galleries and when we were under the impression we would receive the remaining photos in a timely manner. What she did not mention was that my negative reviews keep being deleted to ensure her 5 star rating. And let me specify, I did receive a few galleries, we did not receive over 400 photos of our wedding reception, which was the majority of the wedding photos. That is the reason for the complaint. Again, I have proof of everything if needed.
