Jc Best Pool Service LLC was contracted in August, 2021 to replace tile, coping, deco-seal, locate and fix a line leak(which they didnt), replaster and bring the main drain up to code. The work was completed in late September, pool was immediately filled with water and said company performed the initial start-up of the equipment, stating this was a 3 day process. During this 3 day process, the pool was brushed 3 times, chemicals checked 2-3 times, they were contacted that the pool cleaner was not functioning and we were advised that a new line needed to be plumbed specifically for the pool cleaner for an additional $200 and all would be fine. I agreed to have this done and paid the company the balance of $12,973, not including the $200 for the plumbing of the new line. I asked at that time if there was anything left to be done, and I was told, NO, its finished. No further instruction whatsoever. The new line was plumbed but the pool cleaner still did not work. We advised the company and some company was dispatched to determine the problem and the gentleman that came advised that there was air in the lines. ..this due to the line leak that was never fixed. He did however get the pool cleaner to work for 20 minutes and it hasnt worked since! Months later, I get an invoice for $200 for the plumbing of the extra line, with a notation that they dont fix line leaks, for the pool cleaner which I REFUSED TO PAY! Due to the pool being finished in the Fall, we havent entered the pool, used the pool but did have our pool maintenance company resume regular service in October, which we pay for year round. The grandchildren got in the pool for the first time on May 22nd, 2022 and shortly after got out complaining with hurting/bloody toes!! Upon examination of the pools plaster, the cause was obvious! The pool plaster is extremely rough when it should be extremely smooth and swimsuits are being snagged on steps and loveseats. I texted my pool maintenance guy and he came on the Tuesday after Mothers Day and said the sides are extremely rough as well. There is now a potential health risk due to infection for EVERYONE getting in and out of the pool due to ****** sores on toes and ***** of the feet! In addition, we bought a new pool cleaner which will wear out in a short period of time due to the rough plaster! In addition, I sent a certified letter to Jc Pool Service on May 10, 2022 and they have failed to respond.
