On April 24th, 2023, I went into Kool Stuff Smoke Shop around 2pm to purchase a glass water pipe for $169.99 (before tax). I paid cash for this transaction. Upon getting home, I discover this piece was manufactured wrong. It was malfunctioning and unable to be used. I decided to research some and found out there is nothing I could do to fix this. Please let me reiterate, this is not BROKEN. It is unusable and was bought this way. That same day, I called Kool Stuff *************) and talked to an employee who let me know all sales are final but she took down my name and number to talk to the owner about possibly exchanging. The next day, I heard nothing, so called again. I talked to a different employee and got the same response. 3 days later and I still have not heard from him. I call again Thursday the 27th and still can not talk to the owner. Employees let me know he will not exchange a broken piece. I let them know I didnt break it, its made wrong and really would rather talk to the owner to cut out the middle man business. They refused to provide me with the owners name but again said theyd tell them to reach out. That was going on 3 days ago. Now every time I call it just goes to voicemail. While I do understand places have refund policies in place, Im perfectly fine with exchanging it for something that actually works. I cannot justify spending $170 on something I can never use if I didnt do anything wrong. I gave them a whole week to help me come to a solution but am now being ignored and dismissed. *** left reviews and reached out to all the people I can but am running out of options. Please help make this right.
