New trailer only used 6 times., Needed new Roof. Wall Seam, Drip Rails not connected/sealed at joints (Why there is water damage near the window), Bath door Jamb coming off (Not even connected), Vent In bathroom not connected. One s**** was attached to nothing, Never used before Microwave, Door does not open, S**** cover on rear door coming off, Vent on water heater fell off, Front door rubbing on frame, Lights flicker when plugging in to a ***., Nite shade broken from line, Now water damage on here??? BECAUSE THERE WAS NO WATER DAMAGE WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF ON MARCH 18TH. NOW ITS MAY 25, OVER 30 DAYS OF RAIN!On May 25 they gave me a Bill for $3.484.66 for many things that happened while it had been there or since the roof was completed. Telling me that the Bowing walls are not a problem. They were not there before! Charging me for the Bathroom door jamb coming off. It was not a problem until the roof got replaced. Door cover has been coming off since I purchased the Trailer. The lights flickering when plugging the *** in. They are saying that the battery is bad, the battery was less than 2yrs old. It has been at their yard almost 12 months with no charge. Of course, the battery is going bad. It was not a problem before they replaced the roof. They want to charge me $160 for the table cover that has basically completely detached from the table. It was not like that when I brought it there. Then $769 for some water damage by the refrigerator. It was not there when I brought it there. The refrigerator has hardly been used, not sure where that water came from. The invoice said the vent lid was hit by something. IT WAS HIT BY HAIL. It has hailed there, and the crack was not there when I brought it there or I would have mentioned it or covered or taped it. And it is not on the invoice but now there is water damage by the window due to water getting into it while it has been sitting in their parking lot for months since I brought it there. Customer has been in contact with our regional service manager *********************** and is very aware of his options the customers isuues are maintance related and was told he was able to pick up his unit at any time.Customer is not being charged for the tabletop as that was covered in warranty .Initial Complaint

Travel trailer purchased from Fun Town RV at ******* location and possession taken 03/14/24, was assured the registration documents needed to obtain license plate would be "sent by certified mail and received in ten (10) days." Continued to call, text and email after the ten (10) days had passed and was continually told "I will get the tracking number and call you back." That did not occur. A lengthy conversation with many Fun Town employees ensued, my concern was the late fee that would be assessed by DPS. A number of employees assured me Fun Town RV would reimburse me for any penalties (I do have that in writing.) The registration documents were finally received 04/17/24. On 05/03/24, I provided a copy of the registration receipt that included a sales tax penalty fee and provided that proof to Fun Town RV. I have contacted Fun Town RV a number of times, sent several emails and they continue to tell me that the reimbursement will be made a priority and taken care of that day, and I will be contacted with a tracking number later in the day. Today is 06/26/24, I have yet to receive a tracking number or any additional information from anyone at Fun Town RV. I did provide notice to Fun Town RV that a complaint would be filed with the BBB if this wasn't rectified. I have provided Fun Town RV with more than ample time to reach out to me and also to have received the reimbursement. Therefore, I wish to make a record with the BBB regarding Fun Town RV's lack of timely handling this situation and their lack of taking care of the situation that was created by Fun Town RV.Business response

I purchased a Kingsport 299 RLI Metal/TT on 02/03/24 from Funtown RV in ****** *** and it is falling apart in front of my eyes. I am just mind blown that this is happening to a brand-new RV. RV Repairs:1. Oven will not light from day one, the oven front glass shattered with minimal force closing it while trying to get the oven to light.2.Kitchen Sink connects to black water tank.3.Heater doesnt blow through the vents due to incorrect installation of ducking.4.Leaking at roof down wall when it rains in the living room area the walls and insulation are wet. 5. When fireplace is turned on the settings switch & beeps as you walk.6. Breaker Box miss labeled.7. Black water tank always says full I just paid my third note of $569 of a 15yr contract. the ink isn't even dry on the contract and there are significate issues. I finally got Funtown to get it in to inspect it (5/6/24) to see what they say *** or *** not be covered with warranty. I feel like a RV that's 94 days old should be completely covered no questions asked. I didn't buy a used RV because I didn't want the headache of having issues. These issues are going to take time to fix thoroughly, time that I am going to be stuck paying a note for something I can't even use. I don't feel like that is fair at all. Since putting my RV in for warranty repair on 5/6/24 they advised me that they would call me in three days. No call I called them on Friday 5/17/24 and they told me they were evaluating one issue at a time and they havent gotten past the first issue yet and thats finding where its leaking from. They advised me they would call me next week by Wednesday 5/22/24 they never called again. Today Im contacting the BBB as Im at a loss and feel like this RV is faulty from the start and I deserve a new RV that I went there intending to buy or refund my down payment and my three payments. Its just bad business to say one thing and do another. This is a brand new RV! Please help! Thank you for your time.Business response

I am rejecting this response because Its been over a month that my brand new RV has been in their shop, with no end in site. I had to tell them that there was moisture damage from the leak going down the wall. This RV is defective and the water damage will never really be fixed. I bought a brand new RV so that I would t have to deal with any issues and I would know first hand it was taken care of right. However I received a faulty product that I am responsible for paying for, for the next 14 years and 8 months. This is flat out wrong and should be illegal to get away with. I have written the manufacture twice , left review , written the dealer and contacted the BBB. Fun Town RV are crooks with zero integrity, I waited a long time to purchase this luxury item and its the worst decision Ive ever made. God willing I find a way to make this right. $569 a month for ************************************************** front of my eyes, not due to my negligence but the manufacturers ability to provide a quality product and a dealer willing to stand behind the junk product instead of standing for Integrity .

Funtown ******************* damaged my RV while in their possession for service. One of the **************** Manager was phenomenal and instrumental in getting repairs completed via mobile technicians. Unfortunately Funtown that **************** Manager is no longer with Fun Town. It seems that Fun Town has replaced several great service managers with subpar management. One of the items replaced was my awning and light assembly. The awning wasn't replaced with the same unit with blue accent light that came on the unit, but with multi-colored fabric with white lights. To be *****, the awning that was put on my unit doesn't completely cover the awning spool. It's considerably shorter on both end from the original. I've spoken with FT ******* service managers about replacing the white lights with the blue that came with camper. The **************** Manager, *********************** indicated he could send me the lights, but I'd have to bear the cost of finding someone to install them. I informed ***** that I couldn't afford to do that nor bring the camper in 45 miles one-way, just to change out lights. Management refused to assist any further. I was told by QA, that *********************** was the highest point of management, and that no one else could assist in addressing my complaint. At this time management as well as QA have explained to you of the options FunTown is able to offer. This includes having the parts installed at our facility or having them ordered and shipped to your home for a mobile tech installation, or you ordering the lights and we reimburse for the cost. Unfortunately we are not able to cover the costs for a mobile technician as we do not conduct mobile work. We are currently awaiting clarification from parts and service that these lights have been ordered.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because although ******* location may not have mobile technicians, ***********************, as management, is authorized to cover the reimbursement cost of a mobile technician. It is at his discretion to use his corporate credit card to cover cost. I didnt install the wrong unit and shouldnt be liable for the installation of comparable unit from the original. Rest assure that my next RV purchase wont be from Fun Town and Ill be sure to let those in the market, know of their antics, particularly the ******* location.

I gave him the part number that I received from the manufacturer. ***** indicated he would give the information to ***********************, FT ************************* Manager, get feedback on ETA of order etc.. and call m back. I spoke with him on May 24th, and havent had any feedback since.

Dropped camper off for cosmetic warranty repairs December 4th, 2023. Picked camper up on March 29th, 2024 due to not being able to receive any information about our camper only to find it has more issues than when we left it in their care. It appears that I have not received the service that I paid for regarding my RV purchase at FUNTOWN RV in Fairfield ***** on 03/08/2024.Through dealer contract, I paid to have OPUS process my out-of-state registration and title paperwork to the *********************. As noted below, OPUS is stating that they have not received this paperwork from FUNTOWN RV. This is the essence of the complaint!*********************Email/response from OPUS regarding FUNTOWN RV:Yes, I am the purchaser...the dealership said they sent the registration and title paperwork via overnight mail weeks ago...I do not think I should have to do what I am doing to get the ball rolling on this issue, please contact dealer and get this resolved between you two ASAP...what a disservice to the purchaser!!!In a message dated 4/11/2024 8:17:20 AM Eastern Daylight Time, ****************** writes:Good morning,I saw that you opened another ticket. . I recently tried to purchase an RV from ************* ****. Everything seemed to be going normal until he insisted that I had to put a $1,000 down payment before it went to the finance department. He said it would look good on my part and I would more likely get approved for what I wanted. Once finance had approved me I was then supposed to put another $4000 down payment. I told him I didnt feel comfortable with that but he said if I waned my destination trailer, I would have to do it as he says. I asked him numerous times if the deal did not work out, no matter what the circumstances were, My money would be refunded to me. I attached screen shots of his exact words to me- quotes. Long story short- I did not get approved by finance. Best part is - **** will not give me back my money he insisted I put down to make it lol good for the finance department. He has ignored me three days now and I need that money back, Can you please help me?Business response

I purchased a new heartland 365 Daytona, fifth wheel ** from from Fun Town RV in ********. This was my second purchase in two years from the same dealership. The ** had a lot of problems, including water, leaking through the roof and rotting out the floor, fireplace not working, entertainment system stereo not working, both ovens stopped working, multiple water leaks within the plumbing system that I paid out-of-pocket to have fixed along the way, it started leaking around the toilet base, landing gear, jacks leaking, molding coming off the front of the trailer, it goes on and on and on. I dropped the unit off for scheduled repair on June 19, 2023 today is February 23, 2024, a little over eight months later. Not only do not have my ** back, I still have no idea when or if its coming back. I spent almost $100,000 of my hard earned retirement money to buy this fifth wheel and enjoy life. Now, instead of traveling, we had to rent an apartment at **** estimate expense, obviously, and live there for the last eight months while this ** remains at the ******** service center supposedly being worked on.No one will answer my calls or return my calls to let me know where were at on service. The one update I got was to let me know. I owe them $100 and some change to replace a broken sewer hose holder underneath the front of the unit that I dont recall being broken when I dropped it off eight months ago. They also informed me that they had to put new flooring in the unit because of the need to replace the rotten subfloor underneath, but they would only put new flooring in the lower rear half of the unit which does not match at all the existing flooring in the rest of unit. I guess Im supposed to eat the difference in resale value because they dont want to replace the entire floor material. Apparently the 65 inch TV in the living room got broken during repairs and they cant even find a replacement for that. If they cant get the ** repaired and back to me in a reasonable amount of time I would prefer them to buy the ** from outright at a fair price so I can get some of my money back and buy another **. My wife and I would like to start traveling and enjoy life while were both still physically able.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: After Months of no one returning my phone calls, ***********************, the new service advisor, call me the next day after filing my Better Business Bureau complaint. I see he put in the official BBB reply I was happy. I am not happy at all. What I said was, I'm happy someone finally called me back. ************** also stated that after 8 months of warrant work my re was finally ready. It is not. Many of the items I turned it in for have not been repaired. They claim they can't duplicate the issues. I find this hard to believe because the same issues occur every time I tried to use it. Two examples are the screeching sound that comes from the stero system and the trailer brake connection to the truck going in and out every few minutes which causes the trailer brakes not to work. Very unsafe with a ****** lb trailer. He then told me the 4k ** ********************************* the trailer was damaged during work they were doing so they replaces it with a cheap store brand tv without my consent. He then told me I owed a lot of money for out of pocket repairs for things they apparently broke while in their possession for 8 months. He went on to say my rv was out of warranty when I dropped it off. I explained I dropped it off in June of 2023 and the warranty expired in July of 2023. Anything they broke afterword is on them. He then preceded to tell me the warranty expired in July of 2022, which is completely false. I went through this with the original service advisor when I dropped the unit off and he verified through the manufacture "Heartland" that my unit came with a 2 year warranty and was indeed covered. ****** even acknowledges the service order shows where Heartland approved my repairs. I have spoken with *********************** twice since then, the most recent this morning. Each time we speak he starts telling me again I will need to pay a lot of money for these repairs because he thinks my rv was out of warranty when I dropped itof back it June of 2023. Each time I explain again that it was in warranty and he supposedly goes to research it further. He said the same thing again today plus he said one of the jacks is still not repaired and he wants me to pay for that too. They have had the unit for 9 months now and its still not repaired. they keep adding more charges they want me to pay out of pocket. This whole thing was supposed to be a warranty repair, not me paying out of pocket. I till want them to buy the rv back for a fair price so my wife and I can buy a differant rv and go travel while were still alive. We havealready lost 9 months due to Fun Town.

We have resubmitted the remaining items and are waiting on approvals. He let you know that it might take a few days for this to process. you also spoke to him about the stereo noise and the trailer brake concern which he let him know we would look at both of these concerns again. You also asked about Fun Town purchasing his camper back to which he informed you that was not something that Fun Town does but that he would mention his request to upper management. We bought a brand new 2023 Artic Wolf **** suite in June of 2023. The first time it was returned for repairs was in first part of August and several times since then. We noticed a few minor things our first time camping that they did fix. However, they still have not fixed ANY of the major issues. The bedroom slide lets water run in over the bed, follows the ledge, down the wall, into the floor and closet. That wood trim has already swelled and pulled away from wall. The outside refrigerator didnt work out first trip in the summer. They went back and forth about trying to get warranty to cover it. They actually took pictures and everything. We were told it would be replaced. That guy left company and NO ONE else new anything about it. Now they say it worksof course it does its the middle of winter. Back and forth on that issue still. The back camera has never hooked up to our iPhones. They actually got it to hook up to our phone once after several tries. Of course, it wont hook up the next time we go camping. The lights in the bedroom flicker when the heater cuts on and off. The back splash has melted or shrunk or something and theyre supposed to fix it when they get the parts in. The outside doors were not adjusted right or something and they were extremely hard to close. They kept saying it was nothing. My husband finally messed with them and got them leveled to where they close correctly. Oh I forgot to mention that while it was there, they jackknifed the trailer with a forklift and put a dent in the side of the neck. Actually busted the bottom seal. And THEY DIDNT EVEN NOTICE. They did repair that on the next trip. Their service department is a joke. The upper management is no better. The only person you can ever get to a phone are the sales reps. ***** theyre NEVER going to return a call even when you complain that no one ever has. They still promise This has been such a bad experience with a camper that we love and hope to keep for a long time.Business response

Hello,
According to ************************* he has been working with you for months now. And they spent about 30 mins going over all the isses the unit was having when you dropped it back off.
1.The bedroom slide was watered tested last week before he took the unit and there were no leaks found. We will look again today and see what we can find.
2. The outside fridge has tested fine every time we have checked it. No problem has been found but I did get warranty to replace it. They believe that when it's cold outside it will always work.
3. The back up camera is being replaced through warranty and we are waiting on delivery.
4. There has been no problem found with the lights flickering.
5. The backsplash is on order.
6. The unit was hit on the lot back in September and I was the one that called ********************** to let him know we would be fixing the moulding for him.
***** and ***** have been in contact with this customer many times and have always taken care of them. When he left here today he was .Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:******, *****, and ****** were supposed to go thru the camper with my husband at 1:00 today when he dropped the trailer off. ****** had a family emergency and another guy from the shop came out. My husband went back in and got ***** to come out. He couldnt really look at anything because he has a broken leg, but he didnt bother to come out on his own. Wheres ******? I dont know. He never showed up. My husband called after he left to speak to him since hes the one that set the meeting up. Of course, he doesnt come to office and never returned the call either. We are definitely NOT SATISFIED with this response. We are HOPEFULL that eventually we will get the problems fixed. Oh, the refrigerator was taken it during the last service call and we werent even told. We figured that out when we started packing for it last trip. Of course the ice maker bounced around the whole trip home. Im not sure what confidence we should have in this place since we are obviously not important enough to even keep a meeting with. When my husband left he was polite, not happy, but polite. Being disrespectful will help nothing. I will let you know exactly what was fixed when we get the camper back this time. Im sure it will be beyond my 6 day window to respond.

I bought an RV and requested a **** stabilizer system be installed; The stabilizer cost $1000.00 plus tax which I paid in full. The item was not installed on the trailer and I departed without it. For over a week I have been dealing with the incompetency of several managers who continue to tell me that a check is in the mail. I then received $100.00 back on my credit card, $900.00 + dollars short of my refund. I just want my money refunded for this.Business response
