We met with a Kineta Solar salesman back in May of 2022 for an estimate. All documents requested were given and the estimate for 26 panels and cost of installation was $54,000.00. Part of the sales pitch is if we had a full electric bill while paying our solar payment that they would pay it. Days after we got the estimate, I got text messages from Kineta advising me we needed 2 additional panels but since they had confusion it would be a total cost to us of $55,400.00. The install was done and our system went live September of 2022. We were told once its live, our electric bills would be gone, except maybe one or two of just a few dollars in the winte, which we understood. I have had to pay my full electric bill almost every single month. December of 2022 my electric bill was $439.59 on top of $182.10 solar payment. I reached out to OGE, they suggested we do average billing to lessen our monthly bill. We have continued to get a full electric bill each month since. I have been reaching out to ****** (the ****** and *** at Kineta Solar since April of 2023. ****** responded to my initial email on 4/4/23 and stated I see that your system was PTO (permission to operate) within 90 days of your project being installed therefore, you shouldnt have had a full electric bill along with your solar payment. If that did happen, well take care of any double payments immediately. I sent him copies of my first 3 bills. Once sent, he stopped responding. *** sent 7 additional emails with bills and he has yet to rectify or respond. I put read receipt on them, and I have the email receipts showing he read them.Initial Complaint

Daybreak Solar, now doing business as Kineta Solar failed to properly install all my panels and insure they were all working. Now I have 2 replacement panels and the owner ******, refuses to acknowledge any association with Daybreak Solar or any knowledge of the promises made. How many people will he be allowed to cheat this timeInitial Complaint

We hired Kineta Solar do install solar panels on our roof. First, they say they are not Daybreak Solar however all of their equipment says daybreak, I raised this concern with the owner, and he assured me that he only buys material from them for a discount, but they are not daybreak. I told him I still wasn't comfortable with moving forward and we were told there was no other option at this point. So, we proceeded with the installation the next day. Overall, the install was decent, but they put brackets on our roof and didn't use them then said if they removed them our roof may leak so now, we have empty brackets on our roof for no reason. Next, we noticed that some of the numbers weren't registering so we reached out to who we were told to contact for customer service, we were scolded for calling on a Saturday because she was with her kid, and we were interrupting her even though we weren't told of specific customer service hours to call. After that all of our numbers were blocked by every number the company has. Our equipment still isnt working and we are now $57,000 in debt from this SCAM. All of their reviews on ****** tell of the same treatment other than a few I'm sure written by friends and family. I hope you all can do something so that other families don't have to go through this same headache. They are a complete scam and need to be shut down immediately.
