I called Appliance Doctor **** **** on October 12,2023 and he came out to look at my ice maker and washer and so he fix my ice maker and told me that he had to order a part for my washer and the total was ****** and he never came back and I paid him in fullReview from Donna G

Scam! Do Not Use This Company!
This company advertises as True Baton Rouge Appliance Repair. I called on 2/23/2022 to have my refrigerator ice maker repaired. They answered immediately and came to my house on 2/25/2022. The repair person did not inspect the ice maker, he only looked up the model and told me it needed to be replaced. He said it was in stock and her could install the following week and it would cost $361 for part, labor, and tax. I had to put down $180 to proceed, which I did by check, and he said to make payable to Appliance Doctor. He emailed me an invoice that is from AARC Service, ****************, ******, TX *****. The email was signed by Mike J***. I advised I would call him the week of 3/7/2022 to schedule installation. I called on 3/7/2022 and left a message. I never received a return call. I then tried to call again and I now receive a strange recording that states "thanks for trying our documentation" and then begins to play music. There is no way to leave a message any longer. This company swindled me out of $180!Review from Sharmon W

I called Appliance Doctor to come out and fix my commercial oven, prior to my grand opening date. Michael B****, who is the owner, came out, looked at oven, made a phone call, and then told me he would have to order a new board for oven and it would be $2,500.00. I had to have it fixed, so I gave him my credit card. He came out on several occasions, due to the oven not working, even when he put the new board in. He then told me it wasn't working because the board was the wrong one. He started taking parts from my upper oven, which was working great, and broke the upper oven. He told me he'd be back with correct board, but never showed up and wouldn't take any of my calls. After finding out his name, I saw that he was showing up on BBB for doing this to other people. He is a fraud, he has not idea what he is doing, and he rips people off. He has used different names and different addresses. Do not use Appliance Doctor or Michael B****.
