The purpose of this communication is for the owner of the business to know what is happening and how they are treating parents. Today Aug 25 2021 I had dropped my 3 year old at 1pm and since I'm a realtor ( hours vary ) I had mentioned I was picking up my baby at 3pm. Well i receive a call from the same person that greeted me at the door at 1pm and she calls me and gets smart with me saying "you mentioned u were picking up your kid at 3pm and is 5, already. She went on saying what time they close and if I wanted my kid to have dinner. I simply said no, In fact I was behind the building working and was going to get her. Than when I pick up my baby she goes off and says, they have a life of their own some of them go to school or work other jobs and is greatly appreciated if I get there before 7pm .. like really?? I only picked up my child late once.. and I know the penalty. This is what I thought to my self and I simply let her vent how they also call cps .. if Im 2 hours late. REALLY??Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/04) */ I tried to reach out to this customer. She never returned my call. I wanted to ask her if she thought being hours late after closing was ok and just pay a fee. However, only under emergency circumstances would this be acceptable, The director kindly tried to explain to her she needed to pick up in a timely manner. The excuse of being a realtor does not make up for the fact that we have laws to follow and staff expected to leave soon after closing. Anyone knows right now businesses are short staffed and most working at reduced hours. Staff are working overtime and long hours. To think it is ok to be two hours past closing is not ok even before this pandemic. This parents other visit she was five hours past her reservation pick up time. Her child was fed, diaper changed and well cared for. To not call the owner and discuss her issues with the staffs explanation and write the BBB trying to excuse herself for taking advantage and being insanely late for no good reason is absurd! We have never had an issue like this in 14 years! My director was right to try to explain to this customer exactly what she said! I clearly stand behind her for obvious reasons. I don't know what else to say but the mom can not return unless she agrees to follow the parent policy forms she already signed and agreed to! If you can't pick up your child with in businesses hours you need to find someone who can help you with transportation!
