    My Husband and I contacted Mr. ******* to provide an outdoor living space for us. We contacted Mr. ******* because we contacted him about a year or so ago for the same service but did not go through with it at that time and Mr. ******* seemed very nice and professional so once we were sure we were ready we decided to go with his company Elite Backyards. We paid Mr. ******* a $3,875 deposit on October 28. After making the deposit Mr. ******* informed that he would send us a design, in which he did but It didn't really seem like it was what we discussed. Mr. ******* then sent one of his contractors out to meet with us to see what we really wanted in the outdoor space. Since the contractor came out we've rarely gotten any communication from Mr. *******. My husband has been texting him and each time he says that he is going to send a final design and a final estimate so that we can move forward but we never received either. Mr. ******* also referred us to a financing company that he deals with and my husband and I both provided the finance company with all the requested documents as well as obtained pre approval from the company but this fell through because the final piece of the puzzle was the final estimate signed by Mr. ******* and us. We informed Mr. ******* that the fianance company gave us a deadline of November 29 to have all documents turned in and close out the process. Mr. ******* ignored our messages about the deadline and text my husband days after the deadline saying he would provide the final estimate but still has failed to do so. At this point we are feed up with his business practices and would like to get our full refund. We feel like Mr. ******* is just stringing us along for some odd reason and has no intentions of providing services and we would have been perfectly fine if he had just told us that.

    I left one star because the system made me post something. ************** Is not in *****. He moved his business to *******************. My husband and I signed the contract to have ************** repair our pool, create a new patio, outdoor kitchen with pergola, lawn areas, and new fences too. We signed the contract on 8/13/2021 and the work is not yet completed even though I paid all the way through the project and it is paid in full and still no ************************** claims it's difficult to get aluminum so the story is that it's back-ordered. I guess I should feel somewhat relieved that a majority of the job was done, although it is substandard and even though it was supposed to be completed by April 2022. Currently, I have not seen ***** in ages. He responds to my texts usually with one or two words. I occasionally see Memo. There has never been consistency. The pool pump is off because it was leaking and there was a part that needed to be ordered and that was days ago. I am constantly being told something will happen tomorrow. The surrounding stamped concrete was sealed, but the other stamped concrete that runs the length of the back of my house has yet to be completed with the staining and sealer. There are a couple areas around the pool with cracks that need to be addressed. There is an unfinished planter box. The sprinkler system has leaks that need repairs. Parts of the new sod have died and need replacing, along with certain plants that have died too. Not to mention my front yard is a disaster from all the machines and traffic moving from the street to the back yard over the past year. A pile of dead sod sits in the middle of my front yard. Why? Because that's were it was dumped months ago. It's difficult to trust any of the work that has been done. It's very disheartening. Do not hire this person.
