This place has cute puppies and we love our little girl but she was sick with ******* and the warranty is a joke. You have to use their products and go to their vet use their training etc. and we live to far for all that. But if you dont use it the puppies are not covered. So, if we knew that first we would not have gotten a puppy from there. Now I have a very expensive sick puppy. Ask lots of questions before buying from there.Review from Kayla W

I would like to file a complaint against a store employee at petland in Frisco Texas. She is the general manager of this location and her name is ******. I do not know her last name. My name is *********************** Im also a previous employee who worked at your store back in 2021. On Feb 17, ********************************************************** a dog at this location. I asked an employee information on a specific dog and if I could meet the dog in the play pin area. ****** then approached us and refused to let the employee allow me to hold the dog. when I asked her why she said it was because I didnt return a shirt from three years ago when I worked there. I believe I did in fact return the **shirt. Regardless I believe this was based off of her own personal dislike with me while I was employed. This is very disheartening as I have not been an Employee for over three years, I walked in as a Customer to purchase a dog. She finally asked for both of our IDs to check that we were 21 and of age to hold the dog/purchase the dog. And when we were about to show our IDs she dismissed us and said never mind you cant hold the dog anyways. Im very confused and disappointed because this is terrible customer service. I have every credential as a customer to purchase and or hold a dog. The other employees were staring at ****** in disbelief as well as costumers witnessing this interaction. I have come into this location two or three times in the last three years with my mom and we were always allowed to get information on the pets as well as interact with them. The one time I come in without an older adult she proceeds to tell me this. Again I believe it was based on her personal dislike with me while I was employed. I believe she needs to be retrained on better customer service. I would like to be able to come into this store as customer and be treated with respect. Im listing this as discrimination and terrible behavior and customer service.Review from Madison H

Hi, this is an experience I don't expect anyone to go through. My puppy Pookie that was only 4 months passed away from neurological issues. 6a.m Saturday morning my Frenchie was a rag doll. Her gums and tongue swollen barley breathing. Rushed to animal hospital. 105 fever and not moving. She was aspirating in her lungs "crackling" and also a major hernia/ shaking in paws. me and my boyfriend knowing we can do nothing and she was a sick girl when we first handled her. ***** dollars later and her being in pain I had to put her down at 4 months old. The 4 weeks we had her felt like a life time. Nothing will ever replace her and the love that we had for her. Talked to Petland after she was put down. No refund just "you can get a new puppy." Seriously??? Wtf. ***** for a neurological frenchie is Wrong. You know these dogs are sick and y'all just care about the money not about the families behind them. These puppy ***** are getting out of hand and need to be put to rest. The breeders need to arrest and so does anyone who works at this s*** place. PETLAND IS NOT A PLACE TO BUY A HEALTHY PUPPY!!! WE WILL BE GETTING THIS HANDLED!! Please save some heartache buying from this place because putting a puppy down. the hardest thing I ever did. She knew she was loved. Who ever the breeder is I hope you go to h*** and realize the damage you've caused my family.Review from Bianca A

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the dog I purchased from PetLand Frisco two years ago. Since acquiring her, she has been suffering from a severe skin allergy that has proven to be incredibly challenging to diagnose and treat. Despite consulting various veterinarians, we have been unable to find an accurate diagnosis for her condition. In addition to the skin allergy, some veterinarians have suggested that she may have a genetic or food-related issue, potentially associated with chicken. As a result, we have had to provide her with a veterinarian-prescribed diet. Unfortunately, even with these dietary changes, her condition has not improved significantly. The financial burden of her ongoing allergic treatments, including the specialized diet, has been significant. It is disheartening to have to bear the cost of extensive veterinary care, alongside the expenses associated with her purchase, especially considering the assurance of a healthy dog at the time of sale.We had placed great trust in the store, having previously purchased a dog from them that had no health issues to this day. However, it is extremely frustrating to continue to face these financial and emotional challenges while grappling with the lack of a satisfactory resolution. We genuinely care for our dog, but this experience has certainly left us with no intention of making any future purchases from this establishment.Review from Jocelyn K.

If I could give zero stars, that is what I would give. I purchased a 9 week old Cavapoo female from this store August 9, 2022. At the time of purchase they tell you..you have four days to take the puppy to their vet "petnest" for a check up. Not to mention they claim to have every puppy "vet checked and cleared" before allowing them to go home. Purchased her August 9th, her first vet appointment was August 12th three days after purchase. She was once again deemed free and healthy. I'd noticed some things such as lack of appetite an a small cough...to which I was told she was fine. By the end of Friday her cough got worse. By Sunday she could barley catch her breath and had stopped eating completely. Monday morning I called Petnest and took her back in..they sent me home with a bag of medicines to give her. By 3pm Monday she had the runs and had been vomiting consistently for over an hour. I made the choice to take her to the ER after calling Petnest again and being told to bring her in so they could "syringe food and medicine down her throat". I ask how does that help when she is vomiting everywhere? She was admitted to the ER and kept for 24hrs. Diagnosis...Sever upper respiratory infection, kennel cough and parasites in her poop. How is a puppy who was seen by the vet three times..once at Petland and twice in his office and deemed healthy now in the ER fighting off a major infection? She has been out of the ER two days now and is not getting better. I called Petland to make them aware and they had no concern or remorse and only told me to call he claim number on my folder. I went to leave a review on their face book and they deleted it and made it so I can not comment on any of their post. My next stop is the USDA followed by the Parent Breed Club, Animal control and The Department of Agriculture.Review from Emad A

We bought a puppy from pet land for 5000 a few days ago and as soon as I got home I noticed online that the same breed and size is only 1000-2000 dollars elsewhere I called the warranty and they didn't help at all they said it's final sale they didn't want to make any exceptions at all peatland is a scam all there puppies are over priced by 3 times what they should be and all they give you is some food and a kennel not even a leash
