When I went to the business I purchased something called a class package of 10 classes. I then signed the paperwork and etc. Now I am being charged monthly 165 for a membership but thats not at all what I thought I was getting. I have tried to call and cancel because they wouldn't let me do it in person but they were really mean to me over the phone and basically won't help me. I don't know what to do but I cant afford this. I unfortunately signed a contract I later found out but when I did that in person I had not idea that it would be a monthly membership I was told it was a one time thing.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/12/26) */ Member joined Bodybar Pilates Frisco on November 2nd, 2022. They chose our 8-pack option, which is a recurring monthly membership with a 90 day initial term. At the time of sign up, a staff member verbally discussed the terms of the agreement and the new member signed each section of the agreement to confirm that they understood enrollment details and policies. The agreement is attached for reference. We did not offer class packs at the time. When the member originally requested to cancel their membership, I reached out within 24 hours to discuss other options - offering a temporary hold or downgrading to a less expensive membership option. Ultimately, the member decided to move forward with the cancellation. I went over the cancellation details - 30 day notice, final payment. I even offered to waive the $99 early termination fee. Member verbally confirmed final payment date, I let them know I'd send cancellation details and the form link via email, and the conversation concluded. There was no indication that the member was upset.
