HPRT was hired in 2018 to handle hair damage repairs to home including roof and other items paid out by insurance claim. In May 2023 hail damage storm caused damage and after inspection by insurance it has just come to light that some of the repairs were not made from the event in 2018. HPRT was to have done all repairs but now I find out that chimney repairs were not done and a drip edge was also not done. My insurance inspector also said that he recommends I use a different company this time due to nail pops and poor workmanship. I was unaware of all this until my insurance listed PRIOR on current claim as they won't pay now since the work was not done. HPR took all insurance proceeds and depreciation and had exrta profit on the job at my expense. I am asking for refund of those funds or they can send trade out to do the work now that they cheated me out of 5 years ago.Business response

We have met with the customer as well as researched and documented the details and feel the complaint is not valid. The email as well as documents attached address the concerns. Below is the email to the customer.
Hi ***,
I hope your day is going well... I am forwarding the email from **** in our office which I reviewed and verified the numbers and scope of work. I would like the opportunity to come back by to meet with you and your husband if that is ok? Let me know when works best for you. I can do most evenings or Saturday mornings as well.
We were able to find all the expenses/scope of work that were made for your project and then calculated work not completed. We did do additional items that were not on the original contract including all the gutters window repairs and replaced boards and staining the deck around hot tub. Based on numbers calculated you paid $862.50 less than what insurance allotted for the work we completed. After looking at our margin, all I can say is that you got a good deal.
Also, this does not include the roof system upgrade at $50 per square = $2800 (Upgraded Class 3 impact-rated shingle, synthetic underlayment, metal vents instead of plastic)
I apologize for the misunderstanding and I believe the adjuster misled you about the quality and value we provided you. Will you please go to the BBB and withdraw your complaint?
