I had to watch my renovation like a hawk because I realized from the beginning they and their sun-contractors were cutting corners and I would might not be to code, plus my house would not be properly protected. This contractor ghosted as the final walk-through revealed shoddy and incomplete work (holes in the grout, missing baseboards, uneven paint, etc.) I have held my tongue for 2 years. I was heavily pregnant at the time. Their workers ruined my front lawn. I cannot afford to resod so Ive been in trouble with the *** and the ****************** ever since. The result has been a lot of run off as my soil washed down the storm drain, now causing foundation damage. They nearly caused an electrical fire when they put my dishwasher back, still did not honor their part to have replaced it, and said they would repaint my portico and frontdoor to address the marks their subs left. I feel strongly they mismanaged the funds for my renovation which led to additional debt a single-mother should not have been burdened with. It was not a good experience. It left me in a terrible position having to move my furniture back into my house in my final months of pregnancy after they had promised repeatedly that was part of the expectation. There are still holes in the grout. My lawn is still an eyesore.
