Robert ******** (Handyman Plus, LLC) did our condo update and it was amazing! True Craftsmanship, Integrity, Common Sense, Fair Pricing and Excellent Communication. I can’t say enough good things about Robert Thompson. We met him and then trusted him with our newly purchased beach condo and a large list of renovations we wanted done and then left town and hoped for the best. He was amazing and exceeded all our expectations. He kept in contact with us with pictures and phone calls. He contacted us when there was a decision to be made and we came to rely on Robert’s advice. No surprises at all! Here is a list of what Robert did and hopefully I’ll be able to attach some pictures 1) Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring 2) Carpentry updates to bunk beds 3) new baseboards 4) Kitchen cabinet trim pieces 3) Moved a cabinet in the kitchen 4) New electrical plugs 5) New ceiling fan installation 6) Patio door repairs 7) front door repairs 8) Wall work and drywall work 9) Some specialization to granite countertops in kitchen 10) Arranged painting for every square inch of the condo It comes down to trust and we trusted Robert's skills, communication, and integrity and he delivered. We’ve already asked Robert to renovate our bathroom in a year and have done a little pre-planning with him. I honestly wish Robert ran every single business that I do business with as it was a pleasure to work with him!

3 days agoNEW I retired from UTMB and taught at A&M Galveston. I really wish that I had found Robert many years ago. He is a first class craftsman who excels in custom work. To make an analogy with auto mechanics, most auto mechanics will do a quick diagnosis and then just bolt on new parts in hopes of getting a fix. in contrast to that way, Robert will spend time figuring out the most creative and best way to do a project, be it woodworking, roofing, building, renovations, etc., and will save you money by doing a first class job by the most clever and ingenious way possible. I had an old door that I thought needed replacement. It was literally falling apart. Robert said the door is appropriate to the house's style, it would be impossible to find a new one like it, and then he repaired it so it now looks fabulous and proper for the house, and it cost me less money than a new door. Additionally, I had a small roof leak on a flat roof. Robert found the location of the leak, estimated the amount he would charge to fix the leak, then decided to spend an extra 2 days repairing the entire roof, with a shockingly minimal extra charge, because he said it was the right thing to do, and he wanted to be fair. He has five sons, two of whom are adopted, and he is a devoted family man and a pure spirit. His craftsmanship, honesty, and big heart are rare, especially among the other run-of-the-mill clowns posing as handymen. Robert is the real deal. He is an expert in his craft.
