I grew up going to Texas Skatium for fun. I now take my children there. The last 3 times I visited Texas Skatium the customer service was HORRIBLE. I ordered a pizza and it was not the correct topping I ordered. The manager was called to resolve the issue. The manager did not greet me nor apologize for the inconvenience. Instead she approached me and said We dont do refunds so youll have to buy another one She was rude & didnt even ask me what my complaint was. She turned and walked away while i was asking for alternatives. I came to Texas Skatium again for my nieces bday party. My sister had a similiar experience with the manager after she charged extra guests to the party tab without consulting with us whether we wanted to pay for extra guests to the party. She disrespectfully said Next time dont invite people if you dont have the money to pay for them! Like any paying customer, we felt disrespected & asked for corporates phone #. She declined to provide and instead called the police! This all happened during my nieces 8th birthday party. The police made us leave the party an hour early with no refund. We told our **************** about the experience and unsurprisingly they all had similiar interactions with the exact same manager. She should be held accountable for her horrible customer service and learn to properly deescalate customer concerns.Initial Complaint

On 1/22/2024 I went into the facility to request information on birthday parties. The cashier was very busy and frustrated and did not have time to assist me. She had me refer to a brochure and book online where I made a $100 deposit for a birthday party to be held on 2/3/2024. Though I understand their policy on the deposit, I was shocked when no leniency would be made for the birthday child who was diagnosed with BOTH Influenza A and Covid the day before her party date, 2/2/2024. I requested a call to let them know of this predicament and offered proof of the positive tests. I also asked for a call from the owner directly to see if we could meet somewhere in the middle (perhaps half the deposit or a credit to the concessions) and was very rudely spoken to by the manager. When my requests were denied I then asked if I should continue with the party as booked seeing as how I would not get my deposit back which is 2/3rd the cost of the party. Of course I was advised this would not be allowed due to the birthday girl having covid. So no accommodations were being made to provide services as paid for.
