I recieved in January a reward email for $30 that expired 2/12/23. I went into the store and no they tell me my points are only worth $5 and no honoring the email I recieved. I then bought a product with my birthday gift certificate and supposedly $5 from rewards. When cjrckiy the math on receipt they deducted $5 from points but they didn't deduct from my bill. Receipt # **********. I should be refunded $35.Initial Complaint

On 5/19 I went into the store and received a wax. When I was checking out, the lady at the counter advertised a "wax pass" to me and told me I would receive a certain number of waxes if I purchased the plan. I was charged $132.75 for the pass and went about my day. On 6/20, I noticed that I was charged again on 6/19 by EWC another $132.75 and I called to ask why. I spoke to Cameron and she told me it was because the plan I purchased was a higher balance and I was placed on a payment plan. The lady that sold me the pass did not state anything about it being a higher balance and that I would be put on a payment. When I expressed this to Cameron, she stated she was not surprised because I was not the first person to complain about this same issue. She said she would pass along my number to the manager and she would call me back to help me with a refund. On 6/21, the manager Brooke called me and offered me a refund for the $132.75 that was charged on 6/19 but that I was not going to be getting any money back for the rest of my plan. The wax I received has a retail price of $59. That's $73.75 that is supposed to be refunded to me for cancelling the pass I purchased from someone who did not explain all the details to me. Brooke stated she was not able to refund anything to me and that I was going to basically get nothing for the remaining balance. She also stated that there was a $29 fee for cancelling the wax pass. I would have never purchased the wax pass had the first associate who sold it to me explained all the details. The company is aware of that associates mistake and is not doing anything to rectify the situation. I am more than glad to pay the $59 for the wax I received but I need the remaining balance refunded back to me. I would like the BBB to assist me in getting my $73.75 back from the company who basically told me there is nothing they can do for me and expects me to be okay with paying $132.75 for ONE wax that was received.
