I had specified when I open my account with them that I did not wanted any overdraft on my account and they had charge me 3 different dates with overdraft unauthorized by me each one for the amount of $35 They only refunded 2 And refused to refund the third one.Dates on the unauthorized overdraft deductions are:December 22 December 11 October 16 I want the refund for the $35 on that unauthorized overdraft fee.Business response

A response was accidentally sent to the client without any text - below is our response to the review of the client's complaint. Is there a way this message can be amended to the original complaint as a response or forwarded to the client?
After a thorough review, our records indicate that we refunded 3 overdraft charges for the following dates in question: 10/16, 12/11, and 12/22.
The member has opted out of debit card overdraft protection. The initial overdraft on 10/16 was due to an ACH transaction. There is no way to prevent an NSF on ACH transactions, but we refunded it anyway. Per our records, all 3 overdraft charges were refunded.
Per our chat logs, the member has also requested to close the account, after sending the closed account form to be signed, we have not received it back and the request has been voided until further notice.

I filed a claim with America's First Credit Union almost 4 months ago about money that was taken out of my account more then 3 times that's wasn't mine . I have called as well to get a update on this matter and it's still not resolved . I need my money back . I never heard of something like this taking so long . This is a pandemic and I need all my money that I trusted my bank to protect and I trusted them to resolve this issue in a timely manner . But nothing has happen . Please help me out . I want my money BACK IN MY ACCOUNT ASAPBusiness response

Ive reviewed the notes from the above claim and have contacted several internal departments to get a better understanding of what transpired on your account.
I have received confirmation that debit card transactions were refunded back in 2021 after you contact us. The account continued to drop into the negative due to further check activity even after the refund. As an organization, we provide you with tools to help alert you of when balances drop below a threshold. These can be set up to your preferences. Ultimately, each account holder is responsible for properly maintaining their accounts.
Because your account was overdrawn for an extended period and to comply with Federal Regulations, we had to close the account in 2022.
If there is anything else I need to be aware of or any further steps I need to take, please let me know.
