I checked in to the Days Inn on Sunday January 08, 2023. My reservation was made through *********** After receiving news that I needed to cancel my reservation early due to a family emergency. The front desk informed me that they could not touch my reservation to change it because it was booked through a third party website. I then went to my room and called ***********to fix the reservation upon which they told me it was passed check in date they can not do anything and because the financial transaction was made directly to Days Inn they would have to change the reservation and issue a refund. ***********then called Days Inn themselves and informed them of this. The front desk then told me that they can cancel the reservation at any point that I want to check out, but can not issue a refund because it was booked through a third party site they would have to pay their compensation then adjust my promotion rate to the regular rate for the entire stay and that would take the rest of the money paid. They refused to give me back any of the money for the time not spent there. Upon check in the front desk told me I only had to pay two weeks at a time, but after the two weeks another front desk representative told me I had no choice, but to charge the entire amount for the stay at that time.
