We hired Simply Divine Home Remodeling to remove the tile in our house, install laminate vinyl plank and install new baseboards. We had purchased all the materials. We paid them $3670. They finished the job on 3/8/23. A week or so later we started having issues where the ends of boards were not connected and would separate when stepped on. That took place in every room in multiple spots. It got worse and we had a few boards get damaged. One board was sticking up and was a hazard. We did not want it to get worse and have to replace more boards, so I reached out to Joey for the first time on 3/8/23 about coming out to fix the floor because they just installed it. I have had no luck in getting this resolved. I have reached out multiple times and have been patient. I had to try to fix the floor on my own because one board was a hazard for my family and baby who is crawling. I had to remove the baseboards and part of the flooring to investigate what was going on in the kitchen. I found large chunks of old tile mortar in multiple spots in the kitchen. I tried to put the flooring back down until a resolution could be found but it was so bad that the boards would not lock together. I want a refund because Simply Divine Home Remodeling has shown no interest in fully resolving this issue. I now need to find other alternatives to fix the floor. Because they knowingly laid the floor on an unlevel surface all the floor will have to come up to have it done correctly. We were never told the floor was unlevel and that it was going to be an issue. We would have addressed it before the flooring was installed.
