Worst experience ever!!! I would give a zero star if I could. Do not rent this place. I do not recommend trails recreation club. First the place was filthy dirty , fan did not work, ac thermostat was broken making it extremely hot inside, pool gate was broken, dry food on ceiling and fan, table and chairs extremely dirty and ants crawling on tables, don't get me started on the floors, worst experience ever!!! Then...,
They are thieves!!! They will keep your deposit. I requested to see cameras with cigarette buds they claim I left and *** has denied me seeing it. He immediately accused me and my guest of leaving the place dirty, On Sunday after everyone left me and my hubby rewalked to ensure the place was cleaned and after rewalking the second time we found hidden cigarette buds in the pool area by the tables. My ***** decided to clean it up knowing it did not belong to us just so this would not jeopardize our deposit. I have asked **** and *** to show me videos of my guest leaving cigarettes behind but both have denied. I worked so hard to leave this place better than the conditions it was given and I get a slap on my face by trails recreation club saying I forfeit my deposit. I do not recommend!!! We give all renters a precise list of what is required to get the cleaning deposit back. They are also told that there are two ways to automatically forfeit the cleaning deposit, one of which is cigarette butts in the pool area or inside the building. This particular person left cigarette butts both places and then claimed they weren't smoking. Of course, our property manager took pictures of the cigarette butts and sent them to the renter. Shockingly, the renter did not want to admit what they were doing because they didn't want to lose their deposit. It's unfortunate, but it happens. People don't like to follow rules.

I have requested to see proof of a video from your facility. You claim my guest left cigarette buds and you have proof off it but again are refusing to show me. I want to see a video or I will be contacting my attorney. I hired a crew to clean fly out facility to clean the interior and exterior. I'm sure you can see that on your cameras.

The renter was offered an opportunity to come to the facility to see for herself the mess left behind before our property manager cleaned it up. He also offered photographic evidence. She opted not to take us up on that offer. Is what it is. We cleaned up her mess, we moved on. No further comment necessary from us. We invite her to please take her business elsewhere in the future.
