On March 2, 2022, I was told by ******************* at **** Ranch Dental that I need a crown and core buildup. She said I could lose my tooth and have pain if it cracked and showed me pictures of what she called fractures. I paid my part of the crown and they filed with my insurance, Ameritas for their part. I received a denial that I didn't need a crown and core build up. Wolf Ranch told me they would take care of it and submit the proof. Denied again and had outside consultant review. Contacted Wolf Ranch again and took in the envelope to file an appeal. Was told no worries, Wolf Ranch would take care of it. Here it is almost 8 months later and I am being billed for over close to 300. I called them and they said Ameritas approved the procedure and after it was done, they denied. it. Ameritas never received a pretreatment estimate request. My complaint is that this appears to be this office trying to generate revenue. Just because I have insurance doesn't mean they are going to pay for something that is not needed. I would consider this a type of fraud. ************ is no longer there. I don't know why.

Account Number: ******* Terrible billing experience. I have been coming here for years and enjoy the skill and quality of the dentists however the past 8 months have been a billing nightmare.Events in order.Jul2022. I get quoted to extract and replace a tooth with an implant. With ****************** cost is $2.5k out of pocket for visits 1 thru 5.Nov2022. I come for my visit 3 and get asked if $1.5k is ok. I say yes if it's in line with the old quote. They say they can't pull up the old quote because of a system change. I attend my appointment assuming, there's the word, that they will honor it in good faith. After the service I receive a new quote for $3.8k out of pocket for visits 3 thru 5. I find the old quote and realize the discrepancy.Nov2022 to Mar2023. Several follow up phone calls and emails on my part and I get told that the previous visit was all out-of-pocket because I was maxed out on insurance which they failed to tell me that day. I get told tough luck. Another month passes and I get told they'll provide a refund for $1.1k out of the $1.5k I paid that day. Ok.May2022. I get a bill for $850 with the info that insurance didn't pay up and it's on me. Two more phone calls and emails trying to find out what's going on and no response.Jun2022. My implant s**** falls out, I am trying to get service and resolve the $850. I am told that the bill has been sent to collections despite no one following up with me and there's nothing they can do now but I can call my insurance and collections? Not providing billing information at the time of service, wasting my time, confusion, no follow **** and now collections? Offensive and I have never been placed in collections before in my life.

February 14, 2022, I was charged the total amount for a crown in spite of having 90% coverage. After being paid by the insurance company, March 1, 2022, Wolf Ranch Dental Group is still holding the refund, over $500. They charge an additional charge to my charge card a day following my December visit without my knowledge or authorization. They added a signature saved in their computer to Financial Agreements that I did not sign and which added to my overall ****.
