              I called Bat City Builders, LLC, a woman-owned company in Austin, TX, to ask for an estimate, and the woman said they charge a $2,500 service fee before providing an estimate. Some companies do charge modest fees, but this seems a bit much.

              Hello, We provied ball park estimates. In order for us to provied an accurate estimate we would need plans and have the trades look at those plans. I offer a free consultation to talk about your project and make sure your project fits your budget ideas before we would do a service agreement. I speak with a number of people and provied information. However I do not provied free estimates. Sorry Bat City Builders, did not fit your expitations.
