We had planned to stay a month and prepaid our stay. On our 2nd day, a man walked into my room. I was exposed feeding my baby, and my other children were napping. Luckily, our dog started growling and the man left. After I settled the baby, and called my husband terrified, he came to the room and I went to the lobby to explain what had just happened to us. The woman at the front told me she was sorry, the man had told her he was in our room number and so she gave him a key. She did not check his ID nor ask his name! I went up still in shock and shaking and told my husband we needed to leave. That I didnt not feel l safe to stay at a place that gives their keys out to anyone that asks, without any sort of verification. My husband then went to explain the situation to a young man at the desk and told him we would be checking out the following morning. They man said he completely understood and told my husband he would make note of this. My husband next asked him if he needed to sign anything and the man told him no, that he would take care of it, just to drop the keys off on our way out and assured us we would see the refund on the same card we paid with in aprox. 1 week. The morning of checkout, my husband dropped the keys, and asked one more time if he needed to sign anything. Again he was told no, and that the refund for the remaining days on our reservation would be returned in a little over a week. We left and called the hotel after about a week to check the refund status. Who ever answered took our number for the manager to call back. She never called back. We called again and caught her finally. She told us no way no how she would refund the money because our contact we signed upon checkin was non-refundable. She told us sorry that her employee made a mistake and that she would talk to her, but we would not be receiving our money back. To make matters worse, the next week, a man in the sister hotel near was murdered in his room! That could have been us!

I checked into the hotel on Oct. 17th with my daughter for a stay of 20 nights. The stove and TV were not working. The hotel smelled of Marijuana strongly from 10pm.-2 am . The fire alarm went off , and it sounded like a fight was happening above on the 4th floor. People were yelling and using profanity as well.. The next day the elevator stopped working and my daughter is in a wheelchair. I decided to leave and ask for a refund. They tried to move me to the bottom floor, wich had flooded , and looked unsafe . I had groceries that were delivered but could not get them in a the refrigerator because the elevator was broken. So I left after one night, I was offered 1 night refund for the elevator breaking. A police woman was staying there as well and left after this as well she told the hotel it smells like Marijuana. This hotel also had a prostitute ( I believe) leaving the premises. This hotel did not provide a safe or quiet environment for me and my 7 yr old daughter who has Cerebral palsy to stay. The manager refused the refund request, and I have disputed this with my credit card. The manager, and regional managers were not willing to work with me on any refund. Absolutely not a good hotel, smells horrible like dogs and Marijuana. Unsafe period
