    Around the first week of April 2023, I took my truck to Myers for a list of repairs to quote. This was my "daily driver" WITHOUT ANY major issues in performance before this. No estimate nor contract was given at that time. I had done business with them before but with an estimate given and agreed upon before any work being performed. On May 5, 2023, I reached out to the owner, Thomas **** to inquire as to the progress of my truck. No response was offered (I can provide the letter if necessary). I had spoken with their office staff, "****" who advised me of the problems and what could and couldn't be done. After discussing options for repair and approving limited items, I was given a quote of about $700 total for the items they could fix. I agreed and said I would be in to pick it up. Before I was able to do so, **** called back and informed me that now the *** (invoice reflects the ***** had blown and that the wiring harness needed to be replaced. I was NOT given a reason why or how this happened after I was told it was ready. This was NOT an issue at all before bringing it into to them and I told them that I was not responsible for this "new" problem nor did I ask them to look at anything related that would blow this unit. They informed me that finding parts was a problem. I even offered to help because of the time lapsed with no luck. On May 26, 2023 **** called me and said it was ready with a total of over $1600's. I was shocked and asked why, to which he replied he couldn't talk about it over the phone. I said I would come in. I came to see the invoice with repairs that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE including a new key (plus labor) and a remanufactured A/C compressor. Originally I was told that the A/C had a stuck valve they said they fixed hence the original quote. AT NO TIME, did they say anything about the compressor or replacing it. I also have a recording of my conversation with the owner being rude and staff stating contradictions if required.
