      Worst dealership ever.....they sell overpriced cars with bad motors and then won't pay for rental or give a loaner... Avoid the place.

      My wife and I went to the dealership to purchase a Santa Fe. After negotiating the price we told our salesperson that we had a deal if they would furnish a second key. We then went to finance with **** and he assured us we would get a second key. He then stepped out of his office (door was wide open the whole time) even while counting $5,000 cash in front of everyone that walked by to talk to another customer who was repeatedly coming to the door interrupting us. When he got back he closed the deal, however we did not get a we owe which we expected in our purchase packet. Then after back and forth for some time we told them to remove the extended warranty which we did not have him fully discuss with us at closing. ***** later I got ahold of **** and he looked into this situation and told us without a doubt we were getting the second key. That was in 2023. I called the sales manager *************************** who said that the key was definitely due to us. From that point on they refused to answer the phone and refused to return our calls. It is extremely disappointing that we were treated that way. We feel like they thought an older couple could be taken advantage of. So here it is **** and still no key. I am not exactly what I have to do to get the key which is due to us but between all of the rating apps Im sure we will find something. I have not contacted Mr. ********************** yet. If they miss the sale of one car it would have more than paid for the key.

      BUYERS BEWARE!!! Especially out of state or out of town buyers!!! The price you see online is not the real price. When its time to close the deal they will force their own products on top of the price of the vehicle! In our case they tacked on a little over **** dollars in their own products and options. If you call them and tell them that theres a vehicle you like they will say hey give us a thousand dollars and will make sure it doesnt sell well we offered to pay that fee to secure the vehicle and the finance manager refused to take it! It came across as discriminatory and predatory. So guess what we took the next step of letting them run our credit to receive financing so we could lock the vehicle up once and for all and to show them we were serious buyers! Of course we received financing but they decided to charge us over **** dollars for a Lojack and another almost 900 for a aftercare package on top of the price of the car!!! We clearly stated we didnt want those products but wasnt even given the option of removing!!! Ive never in all my years of buying vehicles came across a car company blatantly discriminatory or predatory. The only refreshing thing was our salesman! He really tried to get us this vehicle but we understood his hands were tied. I dont normally write reviews about a company but this experience was very disheartening to my wife and stressful for me. If youre considering buying from here I suggest you keep looking. They seem to be quite picky on who they sell to and be ready to pay more than whats advertised!       I was looking at a car 2 hours away from my home. I was dealing with the internet manager snd I even asked if the car was in good shape in/out no scratches etc. Manager said it was good inside and out. They did not negotiate so decided not to see it. Few weeks later the price drops I call and negotiate the price and drive 2 hours to the dealership only to find out the 35k vehicle we were thinking of buying had hail damage. And not minor, on the hood, the top, sides, window trim. As soon as I saw it we walked away and told the sales person this was total BS snd they should hsve disclosed it because we drove over 2 hours one way only to be deceived. We would never consider buying a vehicle from any Shottenkirk dealership in the futurebecause this experience was pure dishonesty and fraud to be quite ***** because they do not disclose it and the vehicle can be delivered to your house snd u cant see the damage in pictures advertised. Buyers stay clear this dealership is dishonest!!

      This dealership is as bad as they come. Sales Manager *************************** is as dirty as they come. I was offered a price the price on their own website. ***** was agreed upon by *********** ****** and manager ****. They ran my credit and all was good for a pickup on January 14th. 24 hours prior to pickup they raised the price $1,161! I was called names and told by ************* would not sell me the vehicle if I begged him! I told him I would report unethical behavior to BBB and give honest reviews on this terrible dealership. Warning do not buy at Shottenkirk!

      just now NEW Yes, the Shottenkirk Dealerships in that long stretch of ************************************* have The Eye Candy...ie lots full of New Cars and Used...you will be in ah! But just like the Wicked Witch lured ****** and ****** into her house with *****, both are going to put you in a boiling pot and cook you alive.Even a seasoned Car Buyer with money, clean low mile trade in, and a high 700 Credit Score is going to get snickered at the end of the day.If you really want that Vehicle, be fully prepared to go a full 16 rounds of a heavyweight fight. Just know at the end of the deal, you may have the car the other DFW Dealerships wish they had, Shottenkirk will have won the fight. Do yourself a favor, sell your trade to Carmax and wait for that new 2023 to come in somewhere else!

      This is the worst dealership Ive ever been to. I spoke with a sales person over the phone was willing to drive almost 2 hours for a good car deal. When I arrive they had the vehicle out we started looking at numbers and they had about $6000 of extra fees in the vehicle. It was a complete joke. When it came time to sign the deal at finance the car was marked up $1300 from the original agreed-upon price. This place is a complete scam, stay away from this dealership. Less than 24 hours after owning a vehicle the check engine light came on as well as a couple other mechanical problems. Before I purchase the vehicle the car salesman said they did a $3000 recon on the vehicle to make sure it was perfect, it obviously was not. Stay away from any Shottenkirk dealer.

      I took my car for an oil change. Which I thought was a little high, total *****. The service rep' said I needed an air cleaner because the one they showed me was filthy . I said ' no thanks I can do it myself'. I stopped at ******** and bought for a lot less then the $60.00 they would of charged. Guess what The air filter wasn't even the same kind that the rep had shown me. it wasn't as dirty . Now that is deceptive .I had better check to see if they really did change the oil.

      Simple Story. I am a cash buyer and found a vehicle advertised online for $40,558. I called and spoke with a salesperson who didn't call back. After asking for another salesperson who helped me, I was able to speak to a manager. This is when things went sideways.The manager quoted me a drive out price of $52,897, or approximately $8,500 higher than the online advertised pricing on AutoTrader. He mentioned to me their "warrantee" which is not optional.It's dealers like this who give the car business a bad name. If you're local to ***********, Granbury or nearby, save yourself the headache and do business with a dealer that's transparent with their pricing and their approach to facilitating transactions.
