On 11/30/23, I took my **** **** Expedition XLT to Kwik Lube to fix my transmission tube. They had to order the parts, so they temporarily sealed it back into the transmission. I paid $222.98 upfront parts and labor cost and scheduled a return date. On 12/04/23, I returned with my SUV. They pulled it into the bay and I went into the lobby. About 30mins later, they came and asked me to come start my SUV. I asked why it wouldn't start, what did they do and stated it was starting just fine when they pulled it into the shop.I proceeded into the shop, attempted to start my SUV, but was unsuccessful. I got out of my SUV, asked them again "what did the do?" They said they attempted to fix the truck, but ordered the wrong parts and had to reorder them. I said ok, can you check and see why my truck won't start? At first they said no, then asked the owner and he told them to check it out. They inspected it and, told me my engine was locked. I checked the oil, it was half full. Then I stated that engines don't just lock up with oil in them and it was running and starting just fine before I brought back here. I asked if they were going to figure out what was wrong and fix the problem. They no they didn't have to because they weren't liable. I told them yes they were because when they drove it in it was starting and running, so it's suppose to drive out the same way it drove in. They said they weren't responsible for any damages to my vehicle, pushed it into the parking lot and parked it. I asked the owner to refund my money. He charged me $86.60 for the initial temporary fix and refunded me $136.38. I took pictures of the shops licenses and permits that were on the walls and left. The next day I called the owner and attempted to resolve this issue. He refused to fix my vehicle. Then he told me I had 3 days to remove my SUV from his property or he'd have it towed, so I towed it home. While at home I took a closer look at his licenses and permits and noticed that they'd expired.
