Worst company and engine that can exist. They dont stand by their warranty regardless of all of the proof you have they will ALWAYS blame the customer. I had purchased my engine with them my mechanic installed and then the car would shut off. After almost 1 year at GMC giving them diagnostics they finally sent another one only for it to have a knocking sound from cam actuator bolt causing a ticking noise and a leaking head gasket. Which supposedly they test all their engines before sending out but two engines sent out and both with problems. Made a claim and no one resolved nothing. Now that second engine blew up and apparently its an abnormal combustion but yet still not their fault. I paid the price of engine plus all the work in labor almost ***** down the trash because they cant take ownership of their mistakes. I will be looking to get a lawyer against them. Its ridiculous the way this company lies but I have pictures, videos, phone call recordings to use and GMC to back up everything with all the diagnostics I did separately with them for the same reason that they will do anything to blame others. And this is just the short version of my experience there is a list of things that were a nightmare to go through with this company they literally caused emotional and economical struggle for me . BEWARE.

Garbage engines. Within 2000 miles of install the rear main seal began leaking. Refused warranty claim because I didn't document enough pictures of the leak. Customer needed vehicle back and couldn't wait 3-5 days for their process. Had to eat 500 in labor and parts. Never buy from this company. They don't stand behind anything.

Do not get an engine from them. They denied my warrant claim reimbursement check. I had proof that the engine had no oil pressure and they stated they did not find no problems with it even though I have proof and videos of manual oil test kit showing no oil pressure

I purchased an engine from spartan thru advanced auto. After installed for customer shop started engine to let idle and build oil pressure, engine had horrible rattle in lower end. Called customer support to file claim got a claim no. and that was the end of support horrible company to deal with no one would call back after multiple messages. Even had advanced auto call to find out that it is my problem to figure out. They would not even respond to them. So in short never under any circumstances don't buy from SPARTAN.

Purchased a new engine for my truck with 3 year unlimited mile warranty. Engine lasted 2 Thousand miles and dropped compression in several cylinders, used gallon of coolant and burnt up oil as well. They refused to call me back after several attempts. They no longer respond to my mechanic either. STAY AWAY. RUN AWAY. No matter how good the price and warranty .. at this point I'd trust a salvage yard engine better..
