I was calling to make a payment they wouldn't take my card and when I asked for a supervisor he was verbally abusive and only credited me a late fee. They claim you have a 10 day grace ****** but that's a lie. I was in the hospital then the car broke requiring $800+ to fix it. The supervisor didn't care. Said he'd refund my money but the car would be repo'd this is after being late on ONE payment. These people should lose their BBB accreditation. This all happened 04/29/2023.

We certainly understand that consumers encounter challenges and sincerely hope that circumstances get better for this consumer.

Unfortunately this consumer was unable to fulfill the terms and conditions of their contract.  Should they continue to carry this account in default, repossession is the legal remedy afforded to secured creditors to cure this matter.

This bank took over my account with City Auto Sales. I purchased a 2013 Nissan Sentra the end of February. I've made my payments all on time, or within scheduled time frame. This vehicle broke down and left me stranded may 10th. I left it at Walmart in El Reno OK while I saved money to be able to fix it, Walmart had it towed to A-Z towing in Yukon OK. Upon towing, we (************** II and myself) were contacted and informed it had been impounded and would cost $600 to get out. Mark ****** at Strategic Automotive contacted me, ***** ******, and said I needed to see if the dealership I purchased the vehicle from could help get it out of impound if I couldn't. I contacted Damon (last name unknown) with a number provided to me by Mark ******. Damon couldn't help us get it out of impound. I called to inform Mark. This was June 15th, 2022. We saved the money to get the car out of impound and called to do so, but were told that our bank came and picked it up. This makes no sense to me because we were not default on our payments nor behind. We had insurance and a warranty on the vehicle. I've since tried almost daily to contact the bank to speak with someone, anyone about this matter and no one will speak to me. I've sent multiple emails, I've called, Corey has called, nothing has helped. When I call Strategic Automotive now, I can almost never get thru to someone and when I do they refuse to let me speak to anyone aside from Mark ******, who I keep leaving voicemails for and emails, with no return of call or email or any form of trying to contact us. They took our means of transportation and will not provide any information as to why or any contact at all. This is a matter that needs resolved. If we can't get it resolved this way we will be contacting an attorney and going from there. This is asinine and I've never felt more stressed out and betrayed by a company that should be, at bare minimum, kind enough to return a call. I have disputed this off my credit.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/11) */ This account was returned to the originating dealer, City Auto Sales, on June 16, 2022. Strategic Automotive Servicing has no security interest in this consumer's account or the attached collateral. All communications concerning this account are the sole responsibility of City Auto Sales. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/07/12) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Both of our credit reports show we have an open account with Strategic Automotive Servicing. If you have "no interest in this consumer's account or the attached collateral" why does it show we owe this establishment anything? Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/07/13) */ This account was returned to the originating dealer, City Auto Sales, on June 16, 2022. Strategic Automotive Servicing has no security interest in this consumer's account or the attached collateral. All communications concerning this account are the sole responsibility of City Auto Sales. All credit reporting has been deleted as of June 16, 2022. Further information concerning credit is solely with the CRA's. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/07/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) How was everything deleted as of June 16th and is still showing up on credit reports? Doesn't make sense. If I don't have an open auto loan with Strategic Automotive Servicing, it shouldn't show up at all. Yet it does. City auto sales is also closed permanently so how is this supposed to be resolved at all?

Auto loan was paid in March of 2020, still 2 years later, they have the account listed as open. Which in turn has prevented me from being able to obtain loans needed for bills, personal use ect. I have tried to contact the company by email and phone without an answer or any returned information. I feel that this is horrible business management and lack of taking care of their clients.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/19) */ We have contacted the CRA's and ensured that all information is updated to reflect the status of the account as closed. Unsure of how this customer attempted to contact our company, however this is the first that we have heard of this consumer's problem to date. Please provide any evidence of your attempts to contact our company for further investigation. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/04/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Equifax shows the account as closed, but transunion still shows an open account as well as stating that the worst payment history is current. My bank is requiring transunion to be closed. It is also being requested that on both transunion and equifax stating that the remark section that the account has been paid in full be added. Attached is the attempted contact by email sent to Strategic Automotive. A file is also attached of the transunion account showing it as opened. Thank you.
