I bought this product on Amazon. I have had my first-ever flare-up of eczema on my scalp. I have been putting the Fruit of the Earth Aloe **** 100 % gel directly on my scalp and it takes the itch away for a time. If I use just a dab, it doesn't leave a sticky residue in my hair, either. I use it on Eczema on my flank, too. It has offered effective itch-relief in both places with no side effects that I have experienced. I think that it works as well as a sample of Ala-Scalp prescribed for me, which can cost over ****** for a prescription.

Hi, I am leaving this review for 'The 100% aloe Vera gel by fruit of the earth'. I have been looking for pure/100% aloe Vera gel & found this product at the store. The claim that it's 100% gel, pure & without color, a moisturizing & an effective therapy for sunburn, minor burns, skin irritations, insect bites, chafing, itching & dry skin made me purchase a 18 OZ.(510g) bottle! Little did I know what's coming my way.. When I used it, I felt a stinging sensation in my eyes(even though the area where I applied it wasn't even close to my eyes) & severe skin irritation on the area applied. It flared-up my minor acne & turned it into a inflammatory one which was very painful! I was devastated! Extremely disappointed by the quality of this product & the chemicals that are added to it! Please make skin-friendly products & don't use false claims to sale the product.Fruit of the Earth Inc Response

It appears that this consumer may have had an allergic reaction to the Aloe Vera Gel product.. The product formula has passed * Human Repeat Insult Patch Test (HRIPT) which indicates that 99.9% of the population should not have an allergic reaction; however, there is that 0.1% that may react to the product. If the consumer will contact us at XXX-XXX-XXXX or ***************@fote.com to provide the seven digit Lot Number of the product located on the bottom of the container, we will be glad to discuss how the product may be returned to us at our expense for defect testing. We have not had any allergic reaction complaints on this product going back six (6) years. We apologize for this customer experience and look forward to resolving the complaint with the consumer.
