              I have two issues. One, I scheduled an appointment for an oil change online between 11:30 and 1:30pm. I waited for a phone call as stated in the email for confirmation. By 11:30am no one called to confirm the appointment. I called and was told to come in. Midas was not busy. Secondly, Midas gave me a quote for an oil change of around $79.00. The representative came to me and told me that the previous place I took my vehicle placed a plastics filter in my car; and put it on too tight and that it would be an additional $80.00, if Midas was unable to remove it. I told them that I would take my car back to *********, where I got my last oil change. Midas essentially charged me $65.60 for an incomplete oil change and reset/turned off my maintenance light (to indicate no maintenance required). Now propose I go back to *********; they may also want to charge for an oil change causing me to pay for duplicate services. Midas poured clean oil into a dirty oil filter. I am requesting a refund.

              On 7/10/24 my wife went to Midas in ********* TX for an oil change and tire rotation. Two week later on 7/26/24 one of her wheels lost 4 lug nuts and the 5th barely hanging on (They must of never tightened the rear right wheel). The car suddenly started violently shaking on the interstate with my 3 year old daughter and 5 year old son in the car. They could have all crashed and died on the busy DFW interstate. If you value your life and others, for the love of god do not have your car worked on here.

              The customer did contact our shop about this incident. We did offer to have it towed if needed. We are extremely disappointed this incident occurred. We also had a very serious discussion with the tech involved. Please except or most sincere apologies.
