DO NOT HIRE *************************** AND A BETTER HOME SERVICES. He will take your money and disappear. We hired him to enclose a patio, redo the floor, and install a door. He did the walls OK. But for the floor he hired people who had no idea what they were doing. We ended up having to buy our own tile and he sent someone out he redid the whole floor with tile. That ended up OK, but he never installed the door. His MO is to agree that you will pay 1/2 up front and 1/2 when he finishes the job. But then he ends up not taking 1/2 up front, then about 3/4 the way through he insisted he needed the full payment, reminding you that he didn't get the 1/2 up front to guilt you into paying in full. He couldn't afford to buy the door apparently otherwise. So against my better judgement I paid him in full. The result - we stopped hearing from him. He wouldn't respond to phone or text messages. He never completed the install of the door, in fact never even ordered it. We had to buy our own door and have someone else install it, even though it was clearly part of the contract we had with him. I guess the ****** here is never pay a contractor in full until they complete the job. ********************* and A Better Home Services is a good example of why. No honor, no integrity, no follow-through.

Awful experience with this company. *** is very difficult to deal with and will try to hard sell you a lot of things you do not need and did not ask for. I would not ever do business with them. Find a contractor that cares what you need and want.

Strongly recommend avoiding this company! The owner ********************* enjoys trying to rip off his customers. He is a narcissist and a bully. He has pending assault charges. Best thing you can do is not give him your business!

Less than one rating. Proposal presented and signed by both parties and work started same day. Removal of all kitchen cabinets and island placed on curb ( not hauled off). Mold treated. Sheet rock removed and informed need plumbing replaced ( additional $475).I informed company ( **** 24 hrs later his service not needed and agreed to pay for services rendered ( mold treatment and kitchen cabinet removal.) He stated I was obligated to fulfill contract ( it was a proposal). Tried to get me to apply for finance and/ or get 2nd mtg. He stated mold was not completely treated and threatened to put lien on house for total amount of work ( not done). States cabinets ordered and were to be delivered today ( 24 hrs after work initiated).Total cost of kitchen remodel 2 to 3 X higher than other estimates received. Would not recommend this company to anyone. He would not accept pymt for services rendered.
