I have been taking my children there for several years . Every appointment there is a issue with something . I was in there today 12/14/2022 to get my son a physical for sports he had to have today . I told them I have issues every time please verify there insurance mom just passed away and I need everything to go smooth I did online check in updated my phone number everything . I get to appointment at 12:10 the appointment is 1:15 they finally come out at 1:24 and tell me there rescheduling him his provider is listed as another I said wait I told you yesterday I called and I did online check in I been here a hour and you rescheduled him . You did not ask me if I could pay cash . I leave I call office manager who takes my payment and by this time I have the reference number the provider was changed in the system they did not need to bill me she said she's billing me anyway and she did . I provided her with the reference number and clearly it was there issue. I even explained my insurance card even says there the provider how's this my fault and it was cleared up before they ever took him back for his appointment. And we didn't need this the kids just lost there mother a few weeks ago and dealing with this . See the enclosed insurance card it has Dr ********* the Dr we see and there saying it was not right .Business response

I had a 3pm appointment on 5/4/22 and was not able to make it there at that time due to traffic. I called in at 2:55pm that same day to inform them that I would not be there by 3pm. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes before I could speak to someone. I was informed that I was to late and that i would not be seen and that I was going to be charged a $25.00 no show fee. As I was trying to explain the receptionist got rude an hung up on me. This is the 3rd time this has happened at the 734 East Quinlan office.Business response

I'm not sure if it's this business I should be contacting but I feel like I was mistreated. In January, I had an episode where I slept walked down stairs, grabbed water and tripped over my own feet. I landed on my face on tile floor, had a seizure. The ambulance was called and I was admitted into the emergency room . When I woke up completely from this I was already home in clothing that was not my own. I asked my husband why I was in a blue shirt, he told me I had asked him that question a hundred times, I hadn't remembered anything. He told me how I was in the hospital where they did nothing for me but a CAT scan after a concussion. The found THC in my system, said I was high and fell and just released me completely unaware. Six months later I had three more seizures. This time I was admitted into the hospital where they did MIR's and found cloudiness. The entire time nurses didn't seem to understand why I wasn't admitted the first time. I don't understand why I was passed over too.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2021/09/15) */ We have reviewed the chart. In our opinion, the care provided was appropriate. The patient was stable upon discharge, no need to admit the patient. A referral was made to a specialist and the follow-up was not completed by the patient. Follow up with the specialist could have likely prevented the second admission. Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2021/09/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I was not at all or even close to a stable condition upon release. I was not aware of my surroundings until three hours after I arrived home. I asked the same questions multiple times. I was entirely unaware I was even in the hospital and still to the day have next to no memory of the event. I also went to the billing department to pull my discharge paperwork just to see what my signature looked like. I know my handwriting, I barely attempted to write out my last name and it seems like someone had to mark the paperwork where I needed to sign, like I couldn't because I wasn't aware. Unfortunately we'll never truly know, the man who was crying helplessly for me wasn't allowed into the room. Which I understand, he isn't an emergency contact, but that wasn't a problem in July with the second round of seizures conveniently. I know I never changed my emergency contacts so it all just worked so well. All I have is a signature that looks like a child attempting cursive for the first time and a blank memory. Why would I go to any doctor appointment referred to me by a hospital so open to writing out in bold letters I was breaking a law instead of making a fall on my face, hitting my head clearly on tile stone with a huge black eye the biggest issue! To this hospital, the concussion was absolutely nothing compared to some pot. Hate to tell everyone, I don't need a medical degree to know concussions killed more people than weed.
