I was also scammed into an extended warranty by this dealership. Please note that this is a shortened version of the email sent.On 06/15/2023, I visited Greenville CDJR to purchase a cash vehicle...A representative by the name, ***************************, was to go over the documents with me to finalize the purchase of the vehicle....While I was reviewing the documents, I noticed that the final purchase price of the vehicle was quoted to be $19,717.80. The vehicle itself was only $8,999 and I was paying a $3,000 down payment...I repeatedly asked ******* to explain the cost and he repeatedly told me it was just the cost to finance the vehicle over 60 months...In that moment ******* grabbed all the documents except for the first sheet which was showing only the total amounts...He was adamant that the total cost was just due to the finance charges. I asked him to draw up the forms again as though I was just going to purchase the car in cash. He refused to as his solution was to just keep drawing his explanation on a blank piece of paper and telling me that's what it will cost if I were to finance the vehicle for the entire 60 months...The sales representatives attempted to explain the charges but they also were not sure how...I then concluded that ********************* have failed to provide all of the documents...I informed ******* that I believe he failed to provide me with all of the sales documents...(he sent only the documents he must have known he excluded because no other documents were sent)...we requested for ******* to provide a cost break down over the telephone. It was at that moment the word "warranty" came into play...He then stated that he thought I wanted the warranty. The cancellation of the warranty was filed the same week of purchase but its been over 4 months and the funds have not been released and they are no longer responding.Thier license should be pulled! Consumers are being scammed out of thousands of dollars and it's being disguised as extended warranties!

Purchased a Ram **** truck on 7/20/23. We said we did not want the extended service contract but it was slipped in. We were tired and had a two hour drive back home to make and it was already like 8pm. My husband just signed what ever they gave him. I found the form the next morning when I was looking at paperwork. I called and requested a cancellation and they said sure we will send a form. I got form and filled it out and returned it the same day. Called a week later and spoke to ************************* and he assured me it was cancelled and no worries. I have waited for six weeks now and have called numerous times to confirm it was cancelled. ******* assured me it was done and it takes time to just wait. I called AUL the contract company today and they said well it is not cancelled. The form Greenville sent is not even a form they take. They have sent me a copy of their form. Greenville still has to sign it but I can't get anyone in finance to reply to me. They knew I was going to refinance as soon as that refund was posted to my loan. They did not want me to do that because I can only assume they get a kickback from the finance company. I have waited my time and done as I was required to do but they are sitting back enjoying the benifits at my expense. I would like for them to pay the ******* to my loan ASAP because I NEED to refinance due to lower interest rate. I can't get them to communicate with me!!

I purchased a warranty with my 2021 Ram in February 2022.After a few months, I chose to cancel the warranty and be reimbursed for the remaining balance (permitted by terms).I submitted the cancellation paperwork to the dealership in July 2022. The dealership confirmed I would receive a refund of $3,232.88 for the balance remaining on the warranty. It is now August 2023 and I have not received my reimbursement. I have been continually delayed and redirected by the dealership. Additionally I have been paying interest on the loan for the un-refunded balance for the past 14 months.I would like the balance of my refund as well as payment for the interest I have accrued on the balance over the past year waiting for the refund. I have also endured significant hardship and lost time as a result of chasing the dealership for the past year trying to get my money back.

Greenville Chrysler has not responded to any of my repeated calls and voicemails to schedule service post sale. I have issues with the balance of my tires, alignment, and their claim to have provided me with 4 free oil changes on my account for my brand new truck, which I have learned I only received 2. I have now had to schedule service needed with ******** Dodge to address my above mentioned issues on my brand new truck... since I cannot get through to anyone at Greenville Chrysler... where they have found a sticky watery substance in all 4 tires and wheels, which will need to be power washed at my expense. I will not know if this is the only issue until I get my vehicle back today from the second attempt to correct the balancing issue with my wheels. I require Greenville Chrysler to reimburse me in full for the repairs to correct the balancing issues, including possible alignment, and fulfil their claim to receive 4 free oil changes to my account. I will upload all invoices once repairs are completed. Currently I have paid $35.14 for the first balance attempt.

I would like to make a correction to what i previously stated. there were only 2 of the 4 tire that contained a sticky waterlike substance. The receipts attached include this within the description as well. The total repairs cost I am seeking is $124.30 + the 2 additional oil changes that we promised at the post buyer walk/review of the truck.

My husband and I found a used vehicle on-line at this dealership that we were interested in, and after communicating with Emit to make sure that it was still available, we made an appointment to drive out to Greenville to see it on Saturday, October 15th. Afterwards, we agreed to pay the full price listed on the internet for the vehicle and waited for Emit to draw up the paperwork. We were quite shocked when he came back to us with a contract that included approximately $4,000.00 in dealer warranties, etc. added to the price of the vehicle that we had not asked for or even discussed! We told him that we didn't need any of the extras, but just wanted to buy the vehicle for the price listed. Long story short, he as well as the manager told us that we could not buy the vehicle without agreeing to and paying for the dealer add-ons. I told the manager that in all of my years of purchasing vehicles, I have never been told that I couldn't buy a vehicle for the price listed. His response was "everyone does it."

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/10/17) */ Contact Name and Title: Christopher ******** Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: ********************@greenvillechrysler.com ******, Whie we certainly appreciate the opportunity to do business there are some instances where we cannot agree to terms or figures. Our vehicles do have additional items added to them. Most of our customers do see value in these items, as such the expenses are passed ** to the consumer. With this particular vehicle based off of price, current market conditions, and overall cost of the vehicle we were unable to absorb all of the additional costs of the products. I certainly hate that we were unable to agree to terms, but I thank you again for the opportunity and do wish you the absolute best in your vehicle search! Chris Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/10/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Chris, Much like your website advertisements, your response here is yet another attempt to defraud the public. You said, "With this particular vehicle based off of price, current market conditions, and overall cost of the vehicle we were unable to absorb all of the additional costs of the products." You were not being asked to "absorb" any costs for any products. We were not asking to purchase anything other than the vehicle as is, as it was advertised on your website. You were requiring that we purchase non-tangible warranties and services as a condition to purchase the vehicle, plain and simple. In addition, your sales person had every opportunity to disclose that the price listed on-line for the vehicle was false, as my husband was communicating with him prior to our trip to your dealership. I can only hope that the Attorney General's office has the time to read my complaint and move forward and that future buyers will not fall prey to your dealership's blatantly fraudulent practices. I suggest that you read up on the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act and Business and Commerce Code.

I purchased the used 2018 Acura RDX from Greenville Chrysler on May 30th 2022. As soon as I purchased the car I began to hear squeaking in the front brakes when I stopped, so I called the car salesman Jacob M***** and told him about the brakes, I was already taking the car back to get a dent taken out, which they could not fix, but put paint on it instead. I had them to check the brakes and I was told that it was break powder, which caused it to squeak, that was in the middle of June. I called them back in July about the tires because they didn't look right and the car didn't drive smooth and it shook everytime I got to 80 miles. I called the dealership in July, someone answered and was very rude and talked over me and ended up hanging up in my face. I spoke to the car salesman Jacob who said the tires passed inspection. On September 14, 2022, I took the car to a Honda dealership to get an oil change and tire rotation and told them about the car shaking when I got to 80 miles an hour and I was told that I needed a wheel alignment. After working on the car, the service advisor came back to tell me they could not align the tires, because there was fix-a-flat in all 4 tires and the brakes are squeaking because the brakes need replaced. I could not get the tires rotated and aligned due to this issue. I called Greenville Chrysler, this morning 9/15/22 and received horrible customer service. The person who answered the phone asked why did I get it inspected and was very rude who said they put some type of solution in all of their tires new and used. I asked to speak to the manager and was unable to. I knew based on previous experiences that I would not get anywhere with them since they have horrible customer service. I would like for them to replace the tires and brakes, because now I have to come out of so much money after I was told the tires passed their inspection and the squeaking brakes was due to brake powder. They were not honest and sold me a car knowing.

The sales price and the amount financed are different....there is a $1500 charge that was not disclosed to me, or if it was disclosed it was done in a sneaky manner without full knowledge.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/09/02) */ Your statement is a little Vague... Could you possibly please provide some more context? As a business operator, I am SURE that all charges and fees were listed/disclosed when you were presented your contract. (They are all printed in black ink) I could not imagine someone signing any legal binding document without first reading and understanding everything that they were signing... So I do not understand how it could have been done in a "sneaky" manner. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/09/05) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This still does not explain where the $1500 is. I have a sales receipt for $47,821 + $3995 for an extended warranty your finance guy scammed into buying (JeepWave program covers everything his sales pitch included) but my loan amount is $53,316. Where is the $1500??? I asked for a copy of everything I signed and you have NOT given that to me to see where you s rewed me out of $1500... Greenville Dodge finance dept is a scam! Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/09/06) */ Here is your Buyers order and agreement to products. Your Signatures are all of the documentation. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/09/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) So "dent/ding protection" was what was added on the sly.....I do not want this and request you remove this from the sale as I feel we were duped and did not fully understand the results of all the paperwork your finance guy forced down our throat.

Purchased a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek on Dec. 1, 2021 . It was to be titled in South Dakota which it was. The dealer had us sign all necessary documents, however, the finance company has NO title and will not contact the dealer to get it. The dealership will not help us after repeated contacts. The South Dakota DMV stated they sent it to the dealer. We continue to pay monthly and want to pay the vehicle off but can't due to no title. The dealership again has not helped and we are considering stopping payment due to not being able to get a title. No agencies involved are willing to help!! My wife has documented dates and discussions with notes concerning our complaint. Dec. 1 2021 signed contract Dec. 14. Dealer called to say our original loan had been sold to **** Financial April 12, 2022. **** sent letter to us stating they had not received a title. April 30. May 23 dealer finally called back saying they had sent the title. ( we don't know where or to who ) **** says they don't have it , dealer says they don't have it ) May 31. Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/09) */ I first would like to apologize for this taking as long to sort out as it has. The original mistake was on us here at the dealership. We assigned *********** as the lien holder. It should have been ****. Once we realized the mistake we have been working diligently on trying to get it corrected. The state of South Dakota does not move as fast we would like on these situations. I have sent an attachment with my response... everything that we have been doing to get it corrected is in there. At this point we are simply waiting on the State. We have provided everything that they have requested. Again I apologize for this taking so long. Chris ******** General Manager Greenville Chrysler
