              This is a good/bad review. The good first - I called for a clogged main drain on Sunday, 12/31/23. *** answered and was very polite and stated they could arrive about 10am. He and an apprentice arrived at 10:25 and quickly diagnosed (within 5 minutes) the main clog. They needed to leave to get a bigger snake to run the line. They returned at 10:55 and set to unclog the drain. Mission accomplished within 20 minutes. Through it all *** was very polite while the apprentice didn't do anything but observe. The bill for this 25 minutes worth of work? $737.36! The breakdown is Trip fee: Plumber $159, Trip fee: Apprentice $150, Main line <100' $400, and a 4% credit card fee of $28.36. As a disabled, senior citizen, I don't often ask for relief, but seriously, how can the average household afford such an OUTLANDISH fee for 25 minutes worth of work. I know the old joke, it's not how long a job takes, it's the knowledge of how to do the job. But, all jobs come down to the time value of money - and this particular time is way overpriced for the amount of work done. Five star for service - 1 star for price gouging. BUYER BEWARE!
