On 07/12/20 ********************** Roofing replaced our roof. The next day Mr. ********************** came by to inspect the roof and ask if we were satisfied with the job done. I expressed concern for several things including damage done to our garden and tree by roofing materials being thrown on them, our formally clean driveway being now covered in tire tracks, dirt and oil, and the gutters on the front and sides of our home spotted by large globs of tar (very visible at street). At that time Mr ********************** said he would clean the driveway as he also had a pressure washing business and he would of course clean up the tar from our gutters. It was also at this time that we were instructed by Mr ********************** to call our insurance company and let them know that all work had been completed to receive the final check from them so we could pay him the remaining balance of $1000 (paid 7/30). We did this even though we still had not had our fence re-stained, our shutters redone or our ceiling (water stain and drywall split) fixed. ********************** told us he would be back out to clean the driveway and fix the gutters and did come by on that day 7/30. He spot treated the driveway in three or four small spots, NOT the entire driveway as previously discussed and when he went to remove the tar, he removed the paint from our gutter. He let us know he would repaint that section and come back out to our house with a different chemical to remove the tar the following week. I spoke on the phone with him a week after he was supposed to have been out again and he stated he had been very sick but was feeling better and would be out to finish the job the next week. I sent a text on 9/13 asking when we would see him, and no response. I sent another text on 10/11 at which time he said he would be over on 10/13. He did not show and on 11/2 I let him know that I was still expecting him to finish the job.Business response
