We purchased a home from Jubilee homes at the end of July in the amount of $327,000. Our family moved from CA and arrived to our new home on July 28th where upon entry of our home there was weather stripping from the door right at the entrance of the front door and the house did not appear to be cleaned as was supposed to be done before our arrival. Because we lived in CA at the time of closing, we did not fly to TX for our final walkthrough with ****, the Jubilee Homes supervisor, but instead did a "virtual walk through" via facetime. During the walk through, **** simply explained to us how to work our sprinkler system, garage door, the tankless water heater, and a few other things. We did not essentially walk through the entire house looking for little odds and ends that we may be happy with. However, we did have a third party inspection done on the home in which we forwarded Jubilee a copy of the inspection report. At the time of our walk through, we asked **** about all the things on the third party inspection report that needed to be fixed. **** told us at that time that all of those things would be fixed and our home would be move in ready by the time we got here. Among the weather stripping and dirty house, we found multiple holes and cracks in the grout on our floor throughout the house. The bottoms of the doors were trimmed, but not sanded down, there's a wall in one of the bedrooms that has a corner that is protruding out, and there were complete spots on the wall that were missed while painting. Also, the tile in the showers were not caulked around the top. When we brought this to ****** attention he told us, "If you're getting water up there while you're showering, you're doing something wrong." **** has seemed to shrug us off since day one when we've tried to address concerns with him. Our yard is a disaster. The sod is dead and full of weeds, the foundation is uneven and has rocks underneath the grass, and the sod hasn't grown together.Customer response

The builder has communicated with us and given up options to choose from in which we are happy with. We are working with them to continue resolving this issue.

Had a house built, inspection done at ten months before one year warranty expires. Problems with the roof were found. Multiple attempts made with the superintendent who is the builder son in law. Told me several times the builder and their roofer will not correct the incorrectly done problems on the roof. Had my own roofer come for second opinion who found everything that was done incorrectly and needs to be fixed. I now have to pay for what they have done wrong. Extremely dissatisfied with their WordBusiness response
