I had a leaking pipe in the wall behind my bathtub/shower. The tech came out on time, located and fixed the water leak. My warranty company never sent anyone to replace my drywall like the tech said they would, so I guess I have to repair the wall myself, other than that, I had no problems with this repair. I would recommend this company.Ferguson & Sons Plumbing Response

STEER CLEAR!We had a crack on our toilent tank which caused leaking. The Technician claimed it was not normal wear and tear and therefore voided our home warranty coverage. He said we needed to replace our toilet quoting us $719.00 (pd be credit card). not including hauling off old toilet. I had signed off on the price before work began. We asked if we could pick up a toilet and have him install. He said yes but couldnt come out till next Tues.-5 days later. We were heading into the Easter weekend and had company coming in so we decided to let them do the work. They were referred by the home warranty company. We asked if we could get an energy efficient toilet? All we were told was its a standard energy efficient elongated toilet. We were not told what brand or given a choice to choose a brand. We thought he was going to his Wharehouse to get a quality toilet to install or to grab from his truck. It turns out when he left my home he literally went to ********** picked up a Glacier bay (**********s brand) priced at $119 plus tax. Their labor charge quoted was 150/hour and it would take him 2 hours which totals ******. So do the math- we were charged about $400 for a toilet which they bought for $119- charging us $300 markup for running to **********.He brought a toilet back and it turns out it was broke. He had to run back to ********** to exchange it for another one. He was gone about an hour.I asked the technician and the manager for both the toilet receipt and an itemized receipt and they refused to provide either. I confronted the manager about what happened and they would not make any concession. For that cost, we would have choosen a higher quality toilet like a Kohler brand which ranges around $265-300 at the store. To be charged a $300 markup to drive 15 min to pick up a toilet is Highway robbery and truly taking advantage of their customers! I will not use them again nor would I recommend to anyone who expects transparency and honesty!!!Ferguson & Sons Plumbing Response

Thank you for providing your feedback, we apologize that your experience was not what you hoped it would be. I just want to add some points for clarification. 1. We called into the authorization department to let them know your toilet tank was cracked, it was your home warranty company that deemed it as "not normal wear and tear" because toilet tanks don't "just" crack. 2. You were not present at the time when you requested to purchase your own toilet and couldn't give him a time frame that you would be back because you didn't know which one you wanted, or where you were going to get it from so we did advise that he would have to make a return trip out. As you mentioned, we were coming up on Easter weekend so there were multiple other customers that we had to get to.3. The quote you were provided was for the parts which include more than just the toilet, the labor, as well as the pulling and resetting of the old and new units. Yes, we do have a mark up on parts, everyone does (including the store you wanted to buy from). We do not provide the original receipt from purchase for that exact reason, it is not accurate as we DO mark up the price of the parts, this was explained to you by the technician, the dispatcher, and the office manager. 4. You did not have to use our services if you were not happy with the cost, there are hundreds of service plumbing companies in the area and you as the consumer get to choose who you do business with; however, our toilet replacement pricing is average for the surrounding areas. There are some companies a little less than us and some that cost a little more than we do. We give you the pricing up front prior to any work being completed and you accepted it and signed off on it before he ever left the property to go pick up the toilet, if you were not okay with the pricing, that would have been the time to bring it up. I do apologize again that you are unsatisfied with the services provided to you, I hope you find a company that better suits your expectations. Have a great day!Review from Gloria B

I cant give enough kudos to this highly professional company. A huge water leak in the yard under a very large tree required hand digging, through massive roots, during extreme heat.It was a mean, ugly project and they came through like champions.Ferguson & Sons Plumbing Response

Ferguson and Sons plumbing were very professional in handling our plumbing issue. They arrived when they said they would. Bri and *** were both very professional on the phone and ******* was very informative and professional on site explaining the cause of the stoppage and how to prevent it from reoccurring.Review from Dell K

0 stars would be more suitable. They charge $75.00 for service call which is included in the final cost if you decide to go forward with the work, problem is they want to charge so much to do the work. I was quoted over $100 for a 1/2" valve, and 2 hrs @ $150 an hour to install a sink, and dishwasher. I paid the $75, went to ********** and found out that a valve was not needed, just an adapter ($3.49), I installed the sink and faucet myself in a couple of hours. I wonder how many times a day they collect the $75. Never again!!!!Ferguson & Sons Plumbing Response

Mr. ***** while we do appreciate all feedback, we do appreciate if it is accurate. Allow me to add some clarification: When you called us to come provide an estimate to you, you advised us the company who installed your dishwasher RECOMMENDED (this is different than a requirement) upgrading your shut off valve and you wanted an estimate to do so, we simply gave you the estimate. The valve itself that is recommended - theres that word again - is a brass double outlet double shut off valve, these are about 2- 3 times the cost of a regular shut off valve. You were informed before we ever scheduled your appointment that we do not give free estimates and that there is a $75 service fee to come to the property. You then decided that since you didnt like our pricing, that meant you were entitled to NOT pay us for our time, which is theft of service and illegal. This is where you became irate and incredibly hostile to our office as well as our plumber. The beautiful thing about central ***** is that you have many different service companies to choose from. We are in complete agreement with your never again statement, we just arent the right company for you.
