Firehouse Decks (FD) scheduled time to replace 1 beam & 2 bases-$500, paint top of arbors-$100 & replace 1 plank & paint balcony-$300) FD said they would evaluate & replace any rotten wood at an additional charge. We had talked about our original arbor had a slight slope on the arbor top so if we wanted to add a roof we could. FD arrived & replaced 1 beam & 1 base. When FD replaced the 1st beam they just leveled it with the back part of the arbors taking away the slope & the option to be able to add a roof. So now my arbors dips (slopes) on one side (the original side as planned). When FD was getting ready to replace the 2nd base they suggested to replace the 2nd ********* agreed. FD stated that they did not *************** to haul any wood for the replacement pieces on ***************** FD said they would let the wood dry for 2 weeks & return to complete the remaining estimate **************** top & now adding replacing the 2nd bean) plus bring something to break up a very large chunk of cement that they left (from digging up the 1 beam). I paid FD $500 & did not have them replace the bottom trim on the 2nd beam because they were to return 2 weeks later to replace the 2nd beam which included the trim. I contacted Firehouse Decks a few weeks later & the reply was that it was not cost effective to come back out to complete the additional estimated work. I asked FD to pick up the ************** a base on the other beam. I received to reply. The cement was a very large piece that my husband had them move under a tree. They wanted to leave it at my fence outside my kitchen window. After FD left I found more cement on the side of our house & some in another area by my fence. They did not clean up the area nor did they finish the job paid for. I just want them to come replace the 2nd base, if nothing else. I paid for that base. I would not suggest using Firehouse Decks.
