This is a wonderful school for gemological training, and they're getting ready to add more to their course offerings. I'm a GIA GG (1995) and Certified Senior Member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers. I began taking the RGA course in February 2022. I'm thoroughly impressed with the gemological and appraisal content. The teaching approach is one that works very well for me. I'm more of a visual learner, and their videos are exactly what helps me better understand and process the information being taught. In my opinion, another of their greatest methods are the essay questions. Through the essay demands, you quickly learn how to research and interpret various information from many sources while intensly learning the subject matter. I'm looking forward to earning my ISG RGA and giving back by helping them further their goal of teaching "grassroots gemology" to as many as need and want it. Thank you Robert James and the ISG staff.

A very professional and well designed program that provides each graduate valuable Industry knowledge and skills; along with professional services and support throughout their career. ISG is truly a unique and valuable resource for those wanting a quality education in gemology. *********************** is the driver behind this organization and constantly brings the latest techniques, news and subject expertise to students and members. His professionalism, integrity and concern for quality are unparalleled. I've spent many years working for various companies and he stands out as the best example of these characteristics that I know of. No one should have any doubts about the quality of this program, how they will be treated as a student or his values of fairness, integrity and honesty.

To start I have credentials from **** IGS and GEM A....and now ISG... I work in the field as a gemologist and fine jewelry appraiser (3 years) and I carry my own error and omissions insurance. This school is recognized by the ******************** of Jewelry Appraisers. NAJA recquires a high end program with appropriate knowledge being taught in order to be considered so enroll with confidence. I have never taken a program so well rounded and with a great focus on the ethics of gemology and gemstone dealing. ISG is fantastic and ****** is always learning and revising his program to guarantee the best up to date knowledge being taught. This goes in depth past gemstone identifying to ethics and proper appraisal steps. Highly recommend. *** is of course the most "prestigious" but with the International School of Gemology you will be taught far more than gemstone identification and grading. You will be prepared to work as an appraiser of fine jewelry. You will get to be part of an ever growing family and gain a sense of community. I am more proud of my ISG credentials than any others. Not everyone can afford to go to *** like I did and this program honestly contains the same knowledge for a fantastic price and you get continued support as an alumni regardless of what program you choose or where you are in your learning.
