I hired Palace Roofing and Solar to remove a small section of old gutters from the front of my house and install new gutters and guards around my entire house and patio roof. Installation 4/22/22. I paid half before and the rest on that day. Plus 10% tip. Total $2606 plus $130 tip. Plus excellent service reviews. Installation of gutters is standard and was no problem. I had requested solid Leafree guards. The installer was not trained to put them in either by his manager, or the manufacturer, or by watching and reading the installation instructions on the internet. The panels are made with a tab that goes underneath so that they overlap and provide an area for s******* together. That was not done. There were sections cut short leaving large gaps between panels. The required diverter pieces for the valleys and corners were not put in and large holes were left where debris entered. Furthermore standard diverters were put on the wrong side so that debris piled up against it and was channeled into the holes left. I called and said that there were leaks where the debris piled up. They removed the wrong diverters. I got ip on a ladder and noticed the holes left in the corners and had the installer put in the correct pieces in the corners and valleys. I showed him the installation instructions in the internet. He said he would replace the short pieces and cover some of the gaps with sheet metal. He patched one large hole with sheet metal. I called the manager. The manager was angry and said the guards were St, the manufacturer was worthless, the trainers were worthless, the installer couldn't read. He refuses to fix the problems, accused me of blowing up the phones. He is rude and incorrect in blaming others for the product vs poor installation.
