            I entered into a contract with Hidden Gems boutique for them to sell my art in their boutique. They would keep 30% of the sales and pay me 70% of the sales. The contract states that payment would be made on the 5th of each month for the previous month. They did not pay me for July until September 17th. I have several written attend to be paid for August sales. After these attempts, they became hostile and cancelled my contract. I have not been paid for August or September sales to date. I was only in the boutique the first week of September before they cancelled my contract. They have made no attempt to resolve this issue. Another vendor is struggling with the same issue.

            I wish I could leave a zero star review! Do not do business with this company or it's owners. These individuals opened up a shop mid 2021, accepting inventory and handmade items from local vendors and artists. Within a few months, they were locked out of their own shop due to non payment of rent. They still owe me several hundred dollars and are ignoring correspondence. They owe many vendors a lot of money. Police report has been filed. They are crooks and I would highly recommend you do not do any sort of business with them. They apparently are trying to open up another shop. Beware!

            Yes we did have a lock out on our store location and a vendor reported their property stolen to the police. The police ignored the complaint, rent was paid and we owe nothing to the landlord. We decided to go ahead and close that location because we were only a pop-up store and not under any lease agreement. As for her remarks, "Crooks" don't pay thousands of dollars to make sure every vendor got their inventory. Most vendors have been paid in full and anyone still owed will be getting payment soon. The lock out had absolutely nothing to do with this person and she is just being a "Karen". We tried to give people without a store front a place to sell but turns out we would rather buy wholesale and make a profit then deal with people who don't know how hard it can be as a small business. Most of them were failed business owners themselves. Harassment will not be tolerated!!!

            In response.......thousands of dollars were not paid to help the vendors get their inventory out.....it was paid because that's what they, the tenants, owed the landlord, and had an obligation to pay. They had a lease with the building owner, not the vendors. The vendors I am in contact with have still not been paid. To acknowledge the statement about we vendors being failures.....that's far from the truth. We just wanted to get our creations out in front of more people and we were taken advantage of, lied too and now stolen from since we haven't gotten paid. Leaving an honest review about my experience with this company and its owners, is not harassment, however, the very threatening voice and text messages that I got from the owner after I left my review is most certainly harassment. As I stated before, I would not recommend doing business with them.
