I went through Angies list to find a company to give an estimate to perform masonry work around the trees in my front yard. In response, I was contacted by *** with Aqua Smart Designs and made arrangements for him to come to my home on Wed, 6/7/23. On 6/8/23, I received a written proposal from *** for $1,200.00 and made arrangements for the work to be done on Tues, 6/13/23. I did later inquire about the removal of two dead bushes and installation of two new shrubs in those spots and *** provided me with an amended proposal of $1,340.00. On 6/13/23, *** and his employees came to do the work. Upon completion of the work, I paid *** with a personal check & asked how long I had to wait until I could use my irrigation system and get the stone wet? *** told me tomorrow or at least overnight. I specifically asked what would happen if I found any of my sprinkler heads were damaged during the work and was told by *** to let him know and they would make the repairs. When I also asked about the warranty on the work due to cracks or settlement, *** told me that Aqua Smart guarantied their work. On Wed, 6/14/23, after waiting as instructed, I turned on my sprinklers and found that one of them was damaged & shooting water in the air. I immediately took a video of the water shooting in the air and sent it by text to *** to ask about the repairs, the warranty & paid invoice. *** responded that he was waiting for a response from ******** and would get back to me. On Wed, 6/28/23, I contacted *** to find out why I had not heard back from him? *** told me he would address my concerns with ******** & get back to me immediately. I then informed *** that I had to pay another company $60.00 to make the repairs to the sprinklers. To date, I have not heard back from *** or anyone from Aqua Smart regarding the repair, warranty on the work or my paid invoice. Within two months of the work completion, cracks began to show and yet, Ive heard nothing from *** or Aqua Smart.
