I orders this three years ago I've tried calling repeatedly after a year I've gave up and realized I've been scammed then I read all the complaints I don't know how this business is still open its a scam I was taken for ***** and a lot more people were taken for a lot more all these complaints and the doors are still open (how)Initial Complaint

Ordered an emporer scorpion a few months before covid started. Been contacting, barely got an answer. Was told the seller was gonna check up on the orders. Never heard from them since. This was 2 years ago. Still waiting for a response, refund, or reptile.Initial Complaint

I bought two lizards a Asian water monitor and a filled lizard 200 was the water monitor and 249 for the filled lizard it's been over nine months now and I haven't got an answer I've been trying to call them I haven't got a refund and I'm still over here trying to get in contact with them I emailed them and they always said they send me a refundInitial Complaint

I ordered (order #*****) a Jackson Chameleon from Reptile City Inc. located at ******************, Many LA 71449 on October 22, 2021. I payed $79.99 with no s&h fees because they had 30 business days in which to process the order. On October 28th I sent an email requesting an ETA. They wrote back on November 1st that they had till November 22nd to process the order. It was signed by Zak L****** p# ************. Since then, I have emailed multiple emails and left one voicemail with no response from them. My last email was asking for a full refund of $79.99.Initial Complaint

On July 25th 2021 I ordered 2 Black Throat Monitor lizards $350.00 a piece. I selected expedited shipping for an additional *****. On reptile city's website. The amount of 7***** was immediately taken out of my debit card. I email and call the company daily and constantly get the run around. ************************* answers reptile city oh let me see got your order let me look into that. It'll be out next week we just got a new batch. Tuesday for Wednesday nothing. ************************* answers Reptile City we got your order transaction ID ***** I'll call you back nothing. This is ***************** in sales let me contact shipping department I'll get back with you. This is ****** in sales same issue. Called ****** again Reptile City let me check our inventory we don't have that presently all we got are peach throat monitors and some mangroves let me check our ******* contacts. A constant run around no real updated inventory it seems. The whole experience is awful. They never offer a real solution just more bs.Business response

I will never do business with again poor communication. Lack of meeting minimum expectations in terms of orders in stock availability. Lack of any accountability as to why inventory ordered was not in stock as listed. Very difficult to get a straight answer from anyone requested refund they accomplished that at least. Only after numerous calls emails and complaints and a constant run around.

I ordered through their wholesale section, I ordered a mixture of species, including turtles, geckos, and iguanids. First red flag was the lack of communication, when my shipment arrived, several species where missing from my order and I was told I would be refunded immediately after my shipment arrived. It's been way over a month and I have reached out constantly, I was told I'd be refunded Monday 9/13/2021, the date came and went, I emailed again and I am now being ignored. This is unacceptable and I want my money back! Never doing business again with such a horrible company.Business response

The ad said pre-order for red tail boa RTB-1 @ $69.99, order#XXXXX paid 5/13/21, their third party collector ********* took funds from my account 5/17/21. Now the ad says red tail boa available for $149.99. I've called no answer, I've emailed no response. I'm not the first, they continue to do this with no consequences and I'm out $69.99.Initial Complaint

I purchased a cane toad from them on 6/9/21 and was double charged the amount. Emailed them and never heard anything back. After reading reviews, I now know they are complete scammers. Never received a refund
