Two years ago The Home Systems Heating and Cooling installed a Refrigerated air Unit. Yesterday May 9, 2024 I called them because the unit is not working, they sent a technician and he was able to identify that the motor is not working, the unit is still under warranty for ten years and he told me that they needed to order a new motor, that they were going to contact me once the motor was ready to be installed. In the meantime I have to AC on my house. Today their receptionist called me and said that they don't have the motor, that if I want them to send for a two day delivery I needed to pay around $150.00 to get it shipped to them or wait one month until they receive the motor, and that I was going to have to pay for the labor. This is ridiculous, the unit is still under warranty and I should not have to pay a ***** for the replacement of the motor, I am still trying to see if the finance company that I am paying for this unit resolves this issue but I want to report them to you, the BBB because this is so unfair on the way they are handling this issue. I am without AC on my house.Business response

I would like to start by confirming that ****************** unit was successfully repaired on sat May 11, 2024 in what I believe is a very timely matter. But in response to her complaint, which I understand is about having to pay for the repair, I would like to point out that in our contract that she signed, it states clearly that she only has 2 years labor warranty. And those 2 years were up December 2023. Yes, the parts are under warranty for 10 yrs, but not the labor. I have uploaded the contract here. And even though we successfully repaired her unit on Saturday, we have yet to receive payment for the labor that day.
