      August 2, 2022 This service is associated with ***** ******** **** ******** as a recommended a/c contractor. House Pro inspected my home a/c system and told me I had a leak that required $1k+ to repair, or I could change the entire system for over $10k. for a new system. After getting a second opinion, I was told the previous technician left the freon cap off and a leak may have occurred during service by House Pro. After recharging the system and checking for leaks, no leak was found. Cost of second opinion service was $300. I contacted the House Pro owner/ manager, Mr. ****** numerous times to help resolve the $664 charge for miss-diagnosing the problem, but have received no response. Companies need to take ownership when an error occurs and put customers first. It's apparent Mr. ****** doesn't care.

      This company uses deceptive practices. With the affects of the pandemic still lingering my family could not afford to pay for our ac unit to be replaced. I will very transparent with this company about my financial situation, therefore I selected the financing options. Unfortunately, it did not cover the total cost of the repair and I had a balance due to this company plus the payments I will need to make for financing my repairs. The day after the repair I called this company being transparent about not being able to pay the whole balance due to them. I ask if they could help me and set my account up to be debited $385 on 6/16, 7/1 and 7/16 and that would satisfy my outstanding balance. They told me I needed to call back on 6/16 when I can pay. That was exactly what I did she ask what I can pay and I said $385. I gave my payment information for just amount and decided to setup maintenance services for $59 monthly. That was the conversation on 6/16. I authorized a debit of $385 & $59 on 6/16 and was told again I would need to call back on 7/1. The following week on 6/20 the company debited my account for the entire balance due. And when I called to try and resolve the issue no one would help and I was given an email address to reach out to the manager because they are busy. This caused a big overdraft issue for me when trying to pay my other bills so I dispute this charge with my bank because this company does not care about their customers. They never responded to the dispute from my bank they just threatened me directly with a lien against my home. How dare these people treat me like this as if I was trying to get out of paying my outstanding balance. I would stay away from this company if you are like me and most of Americans still struggling and trying to recover from the pandemic. Because now I have to seek legal help when all I was trying to do was pay my balance due.

      Unfortunately, Tasha Peavy is not being honest about this situation. Tasha seems to be trying everything she can to avoid paying for the work we performed over 8 weeks ago. We have given her several options, including a payment plan she requested that was not part of the original agreement and she still refuses to pay. She does not need legal help, she simply needs to pay her open bill that she agreed to pay. We originally worked with Tasha and Willie Lee Peavy and they were given a combination of financing through a 3rd party company with the remaining balance to be paid by credit card upon completion. After the job was complete Tasha called our dispatcher and requested a totally different in house financing plan that was never offered to her and was never accepted by us. She was then charged the remaining balance on the job that she had agreed to pay before the work was done. She then falsely claimed that we agreed to another payment plan when she called but luckily we have the audio of the phone call recorded and I sent her this recording proving we never agreed to any terms other than the original terms of the job. Even after all this I reached out by email and said I would refund the larger charge and split it into 3 payments (as she requested) but she would need to call our office to provide the billing information. Instead of agreeing to the plan that she requested she decided to dispute the charge with her credit card provider. I again contacted her and explained that once the charge is disputed it is out of House Pro's control, the bank takes the money from House Pro and holds it until it decides to release the funds back to the customer. If she wants to cancel the dispute then she would need to contact her bank, not us. However, this means we still need new payment information for her as the bill was now unpaid. At this point Tasha Peavy stopped responding to my emails for over 2 weeks until she was sent an email with an intent to lien notice. This is standard practice. If a customer refuses to pay for the work performed we send them a notice of our intent to lien to recover the lost funds. Again, all Tasha needs to do is pay her open bill that she agreed to pay over 8 weeks ago by credit card or check. She does not need legal help of any kind as no lien has actually been placed at this time. The entire situation has been due to Tasha - she did not meet the payment terms she agreed to, she disputed the charge with her bank, she will not cancel the dispute, she stopped responding to our emails, and she will not pay the open balance on her bill. This has all been explained to her but again it seems as though she simply does not wish to pay her debt at this point and she is now trying to bully House Pro into forgiving the debt by leaving false online reviews.
