Collision Fix installed an interlock device for me. During installation they ruined the upholstery in the area where the wires were installed. I left a review stating this and also acknowledging that the interior of the car already had flaws. One flaw it did not have though, was the disgusting damage shown in photos. I left a review and the owner responded with a blatant lie stating that they were not the ones who installed the device. Luckily I have the receipt and have included that alongside their own response to my original review. It’s bad enough that my upholstery was ruined and that all I got out of them was “this is a job for an upholstery shop.” Yes, correct. It is a job for an upholstery shop. However, this job would not be necessary in this specific area had they not damaged it to begin with. What’s worse is that the owner tried to lie and shift all blame to me. I hope after reviewing the receipt and reconsidering their comments that the owner will take responsibility as they should have to begin with. At the very least admit they they lied and apologize. I’m expecting it will be blown off though and redirected back at me. The owner responds to any grievances any belittling the complaints. He lies, denies, and fabricates stories that fit his narrative. Please review the documentation I have provided that prove his inaccuracies.Business response

The vehicle did come in for an intoxalock unit to be installed, this breathalyzer requires wiring under the dash and on the pillar We did not touch the headliner during the install. It was your husband that asked us to glue your headliner. The vehicle is 20 yrs old and the headliner is falling. This is not on us. Your husband asked us to glue it and we declined. We told him it needed to go to an upholstry shop. His exact words were I'm not spending that kind of money on this car. I am not responsible for your headliner. Nor will I be placed on the hook to replace it. We all know it was this way before you came here. Headliners falls in this intense Houston heat especially when they are 20 yrs old. The vehicle was already in bad shape when you came in. I can not and will not take responsibility for something that we did not do. As for the review, I will not change my words because I do stand by my repairs and I did not lie. But, funny how this system was installed almost a year ago and you just now are saying something. Seems to me this is a problem you are trying to pawn off on someone else.Customer response

The owner continues to place blame elsewhere. They are lying and proof has been provided.
