CBA on Eldridge owes me $1940 to uphold and follow through on the words of David A. -manager of CBA Eldridge. On November 22, 2023 I paid CBA on Eldridge $5135 for transmission work that was performed by A+ Transmission on Dairy Ashford on my 2016 Ford Explorer. David A. told me that CBA gets a "preferred rate" with A+ and that he would "transfer" this preferred rate to me. He told me that CBA would not make any money on the job - that they would charge me the price that A+ charged them "to assist in the matter". In an email to me from CBA there is a link to the A+ Quote and it shows a credit card payment that CBA made to A+ in the amount of $3195 which is $1940 less than what CBA charged me. I questioned David A. about this discrepancy numerous times over the past few months and his explanation has changed. First he said the $3195 was for the labor only (labor to disassemble the transmission to diagnose problem) and that the parts were on a separate bill which he would let me see, but he has never produced it. Then in another conversation he said the $3195 was for the parts only (that they had to pay for the parts first before they could proceed with the work) and that the labor was on a separate bill and said he would let me see it, but has never produced it. David A. is not standing by his words and has not been truthful in his explanations. This past week when I asked him for the last name of Patrick, the manager with A+, to include in this report he said he does not know his last name, but he had previously told me they were "good friends". David A. has lost my trust by choosing not to follow through and has made no effort to produce the evidence I have asked for regarding the price discrepancy. CBA needs to refund $1940 to me to honor what I was told about getting the preferred rate. Anything less will not be acceptable to me. Thank you, Susan *********
