Wow, where do I start? My morning began with my 2011 *** **** Xdrive refusing to budge. A quick call to my insurance offered a jumpstart, but my gut said it was a no-go. Enter 1-800-Battery, turning my day around with their top-notch service. They didn’t just guess; they tested my battery first to make sure it was truly kaput - talk about thorough! Finding the right battery was a breeze on their website. I just popped in my license plate number, and voilà, the perfect match for my *** was on its way. And the best part? The tech showed up the same day with my battery in hand. I didn’t even have to step outside; I remotely unlocked my car, and he took care of everything under the hood, including whisking away the old battery for recycling. The cherry on top? The new battery came with a warranty. This whole experience was just so easy and reassuring. Hats off to 1-800-Battery for making what could have been a headache into a no-sweat day. Highly recommend them for anyone who wants to skip the drama and get straight to solutions.Review from Kristi J

I am giving them 2 stars as service has been ok in the past, but now I am informed that they only have one tech in my area (Seattle, big city!) and his own car apparently continually breaks down. Meaning he cannot come and replace the dead battery still under warranty in my car. As it is under warranty with this company, I have waited 3 days for them to get their act together. But just had to call *** now as I need my car today and cannot wait any more. Very frustrating.Review from Christian K

This company is the worst. They schedule appointments and then they don't show up. No notice, no calls, emails, texts, anything to let you know they won't be showing up in the appointment window. If they do decide to show up, their Techs are complete and total ******************. My Tech never showed, called me two hours later and was mad I wasn't there, told me he worked on his own schedule. This company is such a joke. Customer Service is nonexistent, impossible to get a human being to talk to. I was told I would get a refund, 10 days later and multiple requests I still haven't received any confirmation that my refund has happened, in fact I was charged a random $100 8 days after I canceled my order from them. This company is a total scam, avoid at all costs.Review from Donnisha B

Do not use this company! Horrible. Spent almost $300 for a battery only for the tech to not install it properly. Spent even more unnecessary money on parts and ***** because I got stranded somewhere just to find out the tech didn’t install it properly. They still haven’t refunded not even partially and it’s been a month! Do not use them!Review from Mai J

Horrible and FALSE ADVERTISING! They say they dispatch services within 2-3 hours of request without ANY CLEAR INDICATION of their operation hours. I requested and set up financing via ****** for a service that never arrived so I was forced to take an **** to work that night. I'd attempted to reach out to their customer hotline via text & call only to be told they were "past operation hours" when I reached out. Where's the automated message indicating that and why aren't your hours of operation clearly stated? Fast forward I request a refund via text and it is approved. 1 month later I'm receiving ****** notifications for an upcoming payment. I reach out FIVE TIMES to confirm the refund was processed, each time I'm told "we will get back to you". A few days ago they finally respond confirming that the billing department has taken care of the case and my affirm account should reflect accordingly. Surprise. It still hasn't. I'm not paying for this ******* scam of a business but thanks for hurting my credit score for nothing I guessReview from Tekla F

Horrible! A scam! Stay away from this business. At least in New Orleans. Claim they have no technicians but they took booking and CREDIT CARD. Not only didn’t do what they advertised but didn’t inform me until too late for me to get another service. Do not trust this business.Review from MARK W

In August my car's battery died. I live in a condo and due to the parking configuration I could not get a car close enough to jump start it. So I called and ordered a new battery. The tech from 1-800-battery came out and replaced the battery. 2 days later the new battery was dead. I thought that there was a problem with the car charging system so I had the car towed to the dealer. The dealer told me that the charging system was ok but the battery wouldn't hold a charge. I called 1-800-battery and told them. The service rep told me that they would send someone out to check the battery. If it was good then I would be charges for a service call. If the battery was bad then the battery would be replaced and I would not be charged. The battery was bad and they did replace it. But I was still charged $105.44 for the service call. I have called several times asking for my refund and have gotten nowhere. 3 emails to there customer service have not been answered. They deserve no stars.Review from David R

I placed an order for a battery for the 9am to 11am window. They took payment and cancelled the appointment and refused to refund me. This is a fraudulent company and scams people.Review from Nathan D

I purchased a Diehard battery for $323.99, with delivery and installation it came out to $376.04. The tech came out and instead of installing the battery I paid for, installed an FVP battery that I found on the FVP website for $150. A little less than a full year later, I wasn't able to start my car and when taking it to get tested found out the battery was dead. I contacted 1-800-battery and was told I needed to pay $50 for them to send someone out and an additional $100 deposit. If the battery is found faulty then I get $50 of my deposit back, so at a minimum I'd have to pay another $100 for the $376 battery that didn't even last a year, about $500 for a $150 battery! Very mediocre product and even worse service. Avoid at all cost!
