It has been alleged by consumers that has exhibit poor business ethics through their misleading sales and practices.
According to consumer disputes, it has been alleged when they have signed up for a specific service; they are being signed up for a 30 day free trial with BillAdvisor and their credit/debit card is being charged. In additional to this allegation, consumers state when they become aware of this charge they have reached out to the company to request cancellation and a refund. Upon speaking with the representatives of BillAdvisor they are informed they will not cancel any contract or be providing refunds.
Additionally, consumers are alleging upon signing up for services, BillAdvisor representatives are requesting credit card information with promises of no charges unless the company can save the consumer more than $150.00 per year. However, the consumers mention they are immediately charged and states the company will not provide a refund. The complaints further allege BillAdvisor this product is unknowingly being added to a bundle marketing deal with a cable service they are acquiring. Consumers have stated it is only upon filing a complaint with the BBB they feel their concerns are being addressed.
