John J ***** has a pattern of over changing and erroneous billing on invoices. He along with Jason M ***** have demonstrated conversion and fraud by sending me invoices dated after I had paid them in full then fired them and their firm. They have shown a pattern of making it their M.O. to go after former clients to extort more money from them after failing to perform as well as after they have been terminated as evidenced as public record in the Harris County District Clerks. Before I hired them I emailed them that I must be kept informed as well as authorize any work performed on my behalf as well as when my retainer fell at or below $300- the email back to me was,; “Absolutely- I will loop in one of the partners because anything else would be malpractice “. I was not informed when my retainer fell below $300 nor did I authorize any work after June 2022 when I fired them for not successfully performing what I had hired them to do. Nearly a year later after not communicating with them since June 2022 I received a Demand Letter for invoices date September onwards for work not authorized nor performed on my behalf. Jason M ***** and John J ***** then forced me into Arbitration for demanding payment on invalid and meritless invoices. By doing so they together acted fraudulently and predatory. There harassment has caused me stress and time filing my evidence and answers. I was paid in full when I fired them in June 2022 and in actuality was owed a credit from their firm. My cousin who is an attorney in another state even went over their calculations and found that they don’t add up. For them to file frivolous and unwarranted litigation costs them nothing yet for me/ I have limited resources. Before hiring them, I was told if we had to enter a courtroom then it would be no more than $5,000 and we never entered a court room but I paid $4,304.76 and I am no better off than before I hired them- just out nearly 80% of what they said it would cost to pursue litigation0 ethics

Ms. ******** was a client that hired us to do various things. She stopped paying her bills, to which we had to pursue. She complained in the proceedings of same above, and lost. She then also complained to the State Bar. And then also in district court. And now here. And on Yelp. And she will or has already also lost there. There's nothing frivolous or fraudulent in us demanding payment, proceeding to collect same, and prevailing in the proceedings to do so. Sorry Aimee, but sometimes, you're wrong. The bills you are saying we weren't authrorized to bill you for are our collection attempts against you. Of course you didn't authorize them. We're suing you for non-payment, silly. And we won.
